    摘要: An outboard marine engine has an engine block; a crankcase on the engine block; a crankshaft disposed in the crankcase for rotation about a crankshaft axis; a cover on the crankcase; a bedplate disposed between the engine block and the cover, the bedplate having a plurality of bearings for supporting rotation of the crankshaft; and a cooling water jacket that extends parallel to the crankshaft axis along a radially outer portion of the plurality of bearings. The cooling water jacket carries cooling water for cooling the plurality of bearings and at least one oil drain-back area is located adjacent to the cooling water jacket. The at least one oil drain-back area drains oil from the crankcase.

    摘要: To provide a jet propulsion boat in which cooling water is prevented from flowing into the footrest deck or from splashing toward the footrest deck and wherein the occupant can easily recognize the cooling water. A jet propulsion boat includes a vessel body constructed of a lower hull including a ship bottom and an upper hull superimposed thereon. A saddle-riding type seat is provided at the center of the upper surface of the upper hull with footrest decks provided on the left and right of the saddle-riding type seat. An engine and an exhaust system are provided in the interior of the vessel body. The jet propulsion boat includes cooling flow paths for forcing the engine and the exhaust system to be cooled by cooling water. The cooling water discharge ports from the cooling flow paths is provided on the rear surface of the vessel body, except for the portion immediately behind the saddle-riding type seat.

    摘要: An electrical component part is fitted to an exterior wall surface of a cooling water passage in a water-cooled engine mounted on a watercraft within a containment structure. The water-cooled engine integrally includes a water tank which forms the cooling water passage and which includes an oil cooler in the inside thereof. The electrical component may be a rectifier connected to a generator and fitted to an outside wall surface of the water tank. A method of cooling the electrical component within the aforementioned containment structure prevents undesirable increases in the temperature of an electrical component part. The water tank may be formed integrally as a single body with an oil tank.

    摘要: A marine wet exhaust system (10) which injects water into the exhaust flow for cooling and attenuating noise includes a particulate capture and containment system (14) for removing particulates and fluid contaminants from the exhaust gas and the waste cooling water of the discharge. With a first embodiment, this is accomplished by separating the waste cooling water and entrained particulates from the exhaust gas in a muffler/separator (12); accumulating the waste cooling water and entrained particulates in a reservoir (52); and separating the entrained particulates from the waste cooling water in a filter (50). The system further includes a reservoir discharge pump assembly (54), a reservoir drain line (86) and a bleed line (74) to maintain water levels in the reservoir and the filter. With a second embodiment, a condensate trap (56) separates particulates and condensates from the de-watered exhaust gas and returns them to the reservoir (52).

This warming of the induction air reduces combustion efficiency, lower engine performance. An induction air cooling arrangement is provided to cool the air inside the engine compartment without using excess engine compartment space and not restricting induction airflow. The cooler provides the engine with cooler, denser air in order to improve combustion, therefore raising engine performance.
