    摘要: A swing bridge for a rocker arm assembly is provided. The swing bridge is configured to be selectively actuated by a first rocker arm or a second rocker arm and span a first valve and a second valve. The swing bridge comprises a bridge body including a through opening and a bore intersecting the through opening, and a swing mechanism configured to connect between the first rocker arm and the first valve. The swing mechanism comprises a swing pin configured to swing in the through opening and a rotary cylinder configured to support the swing pin and rotate in the bore. In particular, the swing bridge may swing angularly upon actuation by the first rocker arm so as to actuate the first valve without actuating the second valve and may actuate both the first valve and the second valve upon actuation by the second rocker arm.

The shaft assembly is disposed within a bore (92) of the adjustment nut below an upper surface thereof, and an engine brake rocker arm assembly (18) is formed in the rocker arm body (40) and configured to operate in a collapse mode and a rigid mode. The lost motion spigot assembly (56) is configured to selectively engage a valve bridge (52) to open the first and second exhaust valves (26, 28), and the engine brake rocker arm assembly (18) is configured to selectively engage the valve bridge (52) to open only the first exhaust valve (26).

    摘要: Systems for valve actuation in internal combustion engines provide configurations for hydraulic lash adjusters and valve actuation valvetrain components that are particularly suitable for prevention of HLA jacking in lost motion cam environments and in valve bridge environments. In one implementation, a rocker arm may transmit motion from a lost motion cam having main event and auxiliary event lobes. Main event motion is transmitted to two engine valves through the rocker arm, a lash adjuster, lash adjuster loading component and valve bridge, which define part of a first load path. Braking motion is transmitted to one of the engine valves through an inboard valve actuator and bridge pin, which define part of a second load path. The HLA is thus disposed in a separate load path from the braking valve load and the lash adjuster loading component keeps the lash adjuster under a constant compressive force to prevent jacking.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine for increasing the freedom of the layout of a rocker arm wherein the rocker arm is lighter. The internal combustion engine includes a camshaft having a first exhaust cam and a second exhaust cam, a first exhaust valve, and a second exhaust valve. The internal combustion engine further includes a first rocker arm for actuating the first exhaust valve to open and close, a second rocker arm for actuating the second exhaust valve to open and close, and a decompression mechanism for lifting the first rocker arm in a valve opening direction at the timing of a compression stroke initiated by the internal combustion engine. The first rocker arm and the second rocker arm are provided with an angular movement transmitter for transmitting a turning force produced by a decompression operator in the valve opening direction from the first rocker arm to the second rocker arm.
