    摘要: An internal combustion engine includes a crankcase, a case cover for covering a side of the crankcase, a crankshaft and a balancer shaft. A balancer has a balancer driven gear and a balance weight provided on the balancer driven gear and is acted upon and driven by a driving force of the crankshaft to rotate. An oil pump is accommodated in the crankcase and has an oil pump driving shaft disposed in parallel to the crankshaft and the balancer shaft. The oil pump includes a pump driven gear. The balancer has a pump driving gear which has a diameter smaller than that of the balancer driven gear and rotates together with the balancer driven gear. The pump driving gear meshes with the pump driven gear. The oil pump driving shaft is disposed within a range of rotation of the balance weight as viewed in an axial direction thereof.

    摘要: A modular exhaust gas assembly includes a turbocharger housing having an exhaust flange and a bearing flange receptacle, and a plurality of turbine scrolls of different sizes for selective installation into the turbocharger housing in dependence on a power of an engine. Each turbine scroll has an inlet zone and is connected to the bearing flange receptacle via a selected one of a plurality of different bearing flanges and to the exhaust flange via a selected one of a plurality of different exhaust links. The inlet zone of each turbine scroll is configured to complement a contour of an outlet zone of a standard manifold so that the turbine scrolls are selectively connectable via their inlet zone to the manifold to suit the engine power at hand.

    摘要: A power generation system utilizing a fuel cell is described. The system includes a fuel cell having an anode configured to generate a tail gas. The anode includes an inlet and an outlet. The system further includes a fuel path configured to divert a first portion of the anode tail gas to the inlet of the anode; and a second portion of the anode tail gas to a reciprocating engine. The associated reciprocating engine is at least partially powered by the second portion of the anode tail-gas. Another embodiment of the invention is directed to a power generation system that includes the anode and an external fuel reforming system, along with a gas splitting mechanism to divide the reformed fuel into two streams. One stream is directed back to the fuel cell anode, while another stream is used to completely or partially power an external or internal combustion engine.

    摘要: A modular exhaust gas assembly includes a turbocharger housing having an exhaust flange and a bearing flange receptacle, and a plurality of turbine scrolls of different sizes for selective installation into the turbocharger housing in dependence on a power of an engine.
