    摘要: A method, system and device for gasketing and sealing of locomotive diesel engine power assembly's internal combustion cooling medium process. The method, system and device comprise a single metal gasket having a plurality of individual elastomeric grommets specifically constructed for sealing the internal power assembly cooling fluid movement through the muting surfaces of the two-piece assembly consisting of the cylinder liner and the cylinder head. The grommets pre-assembled into the gasket at a plurality of internal fluid passage locations are selectively configured to withstand the critical assembly clamping pressure condition and the extreme temperature fluctuations experienced during the combustion process itself. The grommet material composition includes a percentage of carbon black, and eliminates any elastomeric yellow coloration additive.

A water jacket for a cylinder head of an engine system includes a water jacket lower portion including a plurality of water jacket lower portion coolant inlets and a plurality of water jacket lower portion coolant paths. The water jacket lower portion is in coolant receiving communication with the water jacket lower portion coolant inlets. The water jacket further includes a water jacket upper portion connected to and in coolant receiving communication with the water jacket lower portion. The water jacket upper portion includes a first coolant rail, a second coolant rail, and a water jacket upper portion coolant outlet. A first one of the plurality of water jacket lower portion coolant paths surrounds at least a portion of an exhaust port of the cylinder head. A second one of the plurality of water jacket lower portion coolant paths is positioned between two intake ports of the cylinder head.

    摘要: The present invention belongs to the technical field of diesel engines, and particularly relates to an engine cooling system and a cooling method therefor. In the engine cooling system of the present invention, when an engine needs to be warmed up, a first valve is opened, a lower engine body water storage chamber is in communication with an upper engine body water storage chamber, and some of the cooling water directly flows into the lower engine body water storage chamber from the upper engine body water storage chamber. The flow of the cooling water entering an engine body is reduced, and under the condition that heat dissipated by the engine is unchanged, the temperature rise of the cooling water flowing through the engine body such as a cylinder sleeve upper cooling water chamber and a cylinder sleeve lower water jacket is faster, such that an engine warming effect is improved.

    摘要: An engine system is provided, including an engine, a circulation system that circulates coolant through a water jacket, and a controller. The circulation system includes a radiator passage including a heat exchanger, a bypass passage, a flow rate control device, and a thermally-actuated valve. The engine has a spark plug that forcibly ignites an air-fuel mixture. The engine switches between a first combustion in which the air-fuel mixture combusts without the forcible ignition, and a second combustion in which the air-fuel mixture combusts by the forcible ignition. The controller is electrically connected to the flow rate control device, and when the engine performs the first combustion, the controller controls the flow rate control device to adjust the flow rate of the coolant flowing through the water jacket according to the engine load, by closing the radiator passage and adjusting the flow rate of the coolant flowing through the bypass passage.
