The drive unit has: a first harness (41) that connects the inverter and the first electric motor; a second harness (42) that connects the inverter and the second electric motor; a step portion (51) formed so as to be recessed on one side or the other side, in the left-right direction, of the upper end of the inverter; and an AC terminal block (55) disposed in the step portion. The first harness and the second harness respectively extend downward from the DC terminal block while extending outward, and are respectively connected to upper parts of the first electric motor and the second electric motor.

Abstract: A self-propelled earth working machine includes a traveling gear, a machine frame supported by the traveling gear, a power source accommodated on the machine frame for providing power for a travel operation and/or for an earth working operation, a working apparatus accommodated on the machine frame for earth working, and a cooling device for cooling a functional device of the earth working machine. The cooling device includes at least one heat exchanger system for transferring heat from a cooling medium to air, and a ventilator system, which is on the one hand designed and situated to produce a cooling air flow passing the heat exchanger system and which is on the other hand designed and situated to produce in the area of the power source a ventilation air flow flowing away from the power source. The heat exchanger system and a ventilation volume, in which the ventilation air flow flows away from the power source, are situated on the suction side of the ventilator system, the ventilation volume being situated downstream of the heat exchanger system relative to the cooling air flow, so that the ventilation air flow generated by the ventilator system meets the cooling air flow downstream of the heat exchanger system and upstream of the ventilator system.

Abstract: A cooling device including a housing frame, a heat exchanger, an electrically drivable fan unit, a control unit, and a sensor unit. Abstract: A machine includes a frame, a front axle coupled to the frame, a pair of front tractive elements coupled to the front axle, a prime mover coupled to the frame, and a cooling system. The pair of front tractive elements are steerable through a range of motion that defines a tractive element cloud. The cooling system includes a fan and a cooling pack. The fan system is positioned in front of the prime mover and at least partially over the front axle. The cooling pack includes a plurality of heat exchangers. The cooling pack is positioned in front of the fan system such that the cooling pack and the fan system cooperatively define a space therebetween. The pair of front tractive elements are configured to be steered behind the cooling pack and into the space such that the cooling pack is positioned in front of the tractive element cloud.

Abstract: A drive unit and a drive assembly and a motor vehicle. The drive unit includes a first electric machine and a second electric machine and an output shaft, wherein a rotor of the second electric machine is connected to the output shaft for conjoint rotation. The drive unit further includes a disconnect clutch by which a rotor of the first electric machine can be connected to the output shaft. The drive unit further includes power electronics for controlling at least one of the two electric machines and a flow system for implementing a flow of a coolant, and the drive unit, being a component in the flow system, further includes a heat exchanger by which the coolant can be cooled. The drive unit and the drive assembly constitute equipment that allows control of individual assemblies in an efficient manner and with a low space requirement.
