    Abstract: An off-road vehicle includes a vehicle body frame, a cabin, an engine room, an internal combustion engine, and an engine room cover. The engine room is provided behind the cabin. The engine is provided in the engine room and supported by the frame. The intercooler includes an intercooler core and is provided along an intake conduit extending toward the engine and provided above the engine. The engine room cover includes an upper surface exposed to outside the vehicle, is provided above the engine, and defines an upper boundary of the engine room. The engine room cover is provided above the intercooler and includes a window opening through which the intercooler core is exposed to outside the vehicle. The window opening includes a circumferential edge portion that faces an upper surface of the intercooler from above. The window opening is provided along an outer circumferential edge of the intercooler core.

    Abstract: A drive device for a pivotable vehicle flap includes a flap part associated with the vehicle flap, a body part associated with a vehicle body and a hinge arrangement which hingedly connects the flap part and the body part, the hinge arrangement allowing the flap part to be pivoted about a first axis of rotation for opening and closing the vehicle flap and about a second axis of rotation for raising the vehicle flap into a pedestrian protection position. The device drive also includes a first actuator for opening and closing the vehicle flap during normal operation, a second actuator for raising the vehicle flap into a pedestrian protection position and a coupling device for coupling the first actuator to one of the flap part and the vehicle flap. The coupling device includes a fastening part and a first coupling element coupled to the first actuator.

    Abstract: A counterbalanced system has first and second components e.g. vehicle panel pivotably connected to a vehicle. The counterbalanced system has a counterbalance assembly coupled to the first and second components. The counterbalance assembly includes at least one counterbalance subassembly having a cam secured to the first component, a cam bracket secured to the first second component, a bracket secured to the second component, and at least one torsion element extending between the cam bracket and the bracket. If two or more subassemblies are used, the torsion elements of each of the counterbalance subassemblies can extend along a common torsion axis or along parallel torsion axes spaced from a pivot axis. The counterbalance subassemblies are spaced from one another in a direction parallel to or along a common torsion axis. Each subassembly can be adjusted within a range of torque values. The counterbalanced system may comprise a hinge.

    Abstract: A drive assembly for a flap of a motor vehicle includes at least one motor drive and at least one gas pressure element having a cylinder and a piston. The piston divides the cylinder interior into two partial spaces and has a passage arrangement, through which a balancing flow between the two partial spaces arises when the piston moves. The gas pressure element has a first drive connection point connected to the cylinder and a second drive connection point connected to the piston. A switchable valve assembly is associated with the piston and can be brought into a closed state, in which the valve assembly at least partially closes the passage arrangement, and it has an open state, in which the valve assembly opens the passage arrangement. The passage arrangement automatically switches into the closed state in the event of a balancing flow that exceeds a predefined switching flow.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a press-formed product suppresses occurrence of a forming defect such as a crack in a starting material during press forming, and also suppresses occurrence of problems when transferring a starting material during press forming.
