determining, by the data processing unit, a value of a second force contribution representative of the parking braking of the vehicle to be applied, by a second electromechanical actuator, on the first brake disc on the basis of a target value of a force representative of a parking braking of the vehicle which can be applied by the first brake caliper on the first brake disc, and of the determined value of the first force contribution representative of a service braking of the vehicle; operating, by the data processing unit, the second electromechanical actuator to apply the determined value of the second force contribution representative of the parking braking of the vehicle on the first brake disc.-

摘要: A patient support apparatus includes a base having a length and including a plurality of caster wheels enabling movement of the patient support apparatus across a floor surface. An auxiliary wheel support structure is secured to the base and rotatably supports at least one non-castered auxiliary wheel. A drive mechanism including a motor may be configured to drive the auxiliary wheel. A braking system including at least one brake member may be configured to apply a braking force to decelerate the auxiliary wheel and is movable between a first position wherein the at least one brake member is disengaged from the auxiliary wheel and a deployed position wherein the at least one brake member is frictionally engaged with the auxiliary wheel to restrict rotation of the auxiliary wheel. The braking system may be configured to synchronize the braking forces applied to first and second auxiliary wheels.

摘要: A disc brake for a motor vehicle has a brake carrier, brake pads, a brake caliper mounted on the brake carrier in an axially movable manner, a clamping device having a pressure piece with an internal thread, and an adjusting unit having an adjusting spindle (22) for adjusting a clearance of the disc brake. The adjusting spindle (22) has an external thread (28) and is screwed into the internal thread of the pressure piece and is adjusted axially via rotary movement by a resetting tool. A cylindrical adapter (32.1) is inserted into a recess (30) of the adjusting spindle (22) at an end of the adjusting spindle (22) facing away from the brake pads. The adapter (32.1) has a cavity (34) in its center designed as a tool interface for the resetting tool.

摘要: The present application relates to a braking method and a braking system. The braking method of the present application may be performed by an electro-mechanical braking system including at least one axle control unit and a plurality of electro-mechanical braking devices provided at ends of wheels and driven by motors to apply friction braking forces to the wheels. The electro-mechanical braking devices are controlled by at least one axle control unit to switch between a state in which no friction braking is applied and a state in which friction braking is applied in response to a braking requirement. The braking method includes: setting a brake clearance between a brake pad and a brake disc to an initial value; determining whether there is a braking requirement; determining whether regenerative braking is performed; and in response to the performing of regenerative braking, setting the brake clearance to a preset value, wherein the preset value is smaller than the initial value. The brake clearance is reduced before friction braking is required, the respond time to the friction braking requirement is shortened, so that the switch between friction braking and regenerative braking is smoother, thereby the pause and transition during the switch between brakings is effectively reduced.

摘要: A trailer braking system having a surge component used in combination with an electric over hydraulic brake system. The surge component includes a sliding member with a magnetic sensor for detecting trailer deceleration, the sliding member providing an initial pressurization of the hydraulic system. A trailer mounted electrical circuit detects when the tow vehicle brakes are applied and includes a microcontroller for detecting the speed of deceleration provided by the magnetic sensor. A trailer mounted electric motor receives a signal from the circuit board to vary pressure to the brakes in accordance with the speed of deceleration.

摘要: A method for servicing a portal gear box assembly and/or a braking system is disclosed. The method includes removing the wheel hub from the output shaft, removing the front cover from the housing of the assembly, and removing the clutch pack. The portal gear box/braking assembly is serviced and the clutch pack is installed over the output shaft, the place plate is re-installed, and the wheel hub is installed onto the output shaft. The portal gear box of the present disclosure includes a clutch pack comprising a first and second set of clutch plates interspersed between each other. The first set of clutch plates configured to rotate with rotation of the output shaft and the second set configured to not rotate. The clutch pack is compressible by a hydraulic piston and pressure plate, compressing the sets of the clutch plates reducing the rotation of the output shaft.
