    Abstract: The invention relates to a brake pad spring (1) for at least one brake pad (2), in particular for two brake pads, wherein the brake bad spring (1) comprises, for each of the at least one brake pad (2), two opposing walls (9, 10), configured for receiving a portion of a backplate (3) of the respective brake pad (2) therebetween, and for guiding the respective brake pad (2) between a non-braking position (A) in which the respective brake pad (2) is located at a first section (S1) of the opposing walls (9, 10), and a braking position (B) in which the brake pad (2) is located at a second section (S2) of the opposing walls (9, 10). At least a portion of at least one of the two opposing walls (9,10) is elastically movable and the two opposing walls (9, 10), at least sectionally, have a non-vanishing angle with respect to each other, a distance between the two opposing walls (9, 10) diminishing from the first section (S1) towards the second section (S2), in order to create a return spring effect for the respective brake pad (2), from the braking position (B) towards the non-braking position (A). The invention also relates to a disk brake system, comprising a brake disk (5) and a brake pad spring (1) which is mounted on a carrier (7).

    Abstract: A pad pin receiver includes a body plate is attached to an inner side of a pin insertion portion provided in a back plate of a disc brake pad. The pin insertion portion engages with a pin inserted into the pin insertion portion during braking. The body plate covers a portion of an inner peripheral surface of the pin insertion portion. A bent plate is bent at at least one end portion of the body plate in a length direction of the body plate. When the body plate is attached to the pin insertion portion, the body plate extends in a thickness direction of the back plate, and the bent plate overlaps with the back plate in the thickness direction of the back plate.

    Abstract: In some examples, a brake assembly is configured to compress a brake disc stack to reduce and/or limit rotational motion of a wheel about a wheel axis. The brake assembly is configured to transmit a compression force on the disc stack to a backing plate. The backing plate is configured to transmit the compression force to a pad face of a torque pad, which transmits the compression force to a torque tube. A pad face of the torque pad defines a convex surface configured to cause a magnitude of a force profile on the pad face to decrease as the force profile distributes toward an edge of the torque pad. In examples, the pad face defines a first convex surface configured to reduce the magnitude as the force profile distributes toward a first end and a second convex surface configured to reduce the magnitude as the force profile distributes toward a second end substantially opposite the first end.
