摘要: A pendulum type mount system includes a pair of upper mounts that mount upper portions of a powerplant unit on a vehicle body, and a pair of first and second lower torque rods. The first and second lower torque rods are located on opposite sides to each other with respect to a reference plane including a gravity center of the powerplant unit. A first spring constant of the first lower torque rod is not smaller than a second spring constant of the second lower torque rod. A distance between a first plane including the first lower torque rod and the reference plane is not larger than a distance between a second plane including the second lower torque rod and the reference plane.

The connection pipe includes a partition wall that partitions the inside of the connection pipe into a first passage and a second passage. When a cross section orthogonal to a rotation axis of the turbine wheel is viewed, a line segment extending from the distal end of the partition wall toward the upstream side in the flow direction of exhaust gas and defining a boundary between the first passage and the partition wall is a first downstream line segment. A line segment extending from the distal end of the partition wall toward the upstream side in the flow direction of exhaust gas and defining a boundary between the second passage and the partition wall is a second downstream line segment. The first downstream line segment and the second downstream line segment are parallel to each other.

The first blow-by gas passage to the third blow-by gas passage connect an oil chamber and an oil separator to each other. The second wall includes a first connecting path. The fourth wall includes a second connecting path. The first connecting path connects the first crank chamber and the second crank chamber. The second connecting path connects the third crank chamber and the fourth crank chamber to each other. The third wall does not have a passage connecting the second crank chamber and the third crank chamber to each other.

In certain forms each of the non-dedicated cylinders has only one of a first type of spark plug and each of the dedicated EGR cylinders has only one of a second type of spark plug. One or more of the characteristics that may vary between the first and second types of spark plugs include spark gap, electrode diameter, heat range, and ion sensing capability.

摘要: An exhaust gas recirculation system for a multi-cylinder engine is provided, which includes an exhaust manifold connected to a cylinder head, a catalyst connected to a downstream end of the exhaust manifold in terms of an exhaust gas flow, an EGR gas outlet provided downstream of the catalyst, an in-head EGR passage penetrating the cylinder head, and an EGR pipe extending from the EGR gas outlet and directly connected to an inlet of the in-head EGR passage to lead EGR gas thereto. The catalyst is disposed so that the exhaust gas flows therein from a first side to a second side in an engine cylinder lined-up direction. The EGR gas outlet is located on the second side with respect to the center of the engine in the cylinder lined-up direction, and the inlet of the in-head EGR passage is located in the first side with respect to the engine center.
