    摘要: A pendulum type mount system includes a pair of upper mounts that mount upper portions of a powerplant unit on a vehicle body, and a pair of first and second lower torque rods. The first and second lower torque rods are located on opposite sides to each other with respect to a reference plane including a gravity center of the powerplant unit. A first spring constant of the first lower torque rod is not smaller than a second spring constant of the second lower torque rod. A distance between a first plane including the first lower torque rod and the reference plane is not larger than a distance between a second plane including the second lower torque rod and the reference plane.

First and second power cylinders and an expander cylinder are formed in the engine block. First and second power pistons are moveable in the first and second power cylinders and are connected to respective first and second crankpins of the crankshaft. An expander piston is moveable in the expander cylinder and is connected to a third crankpin of the crankshaft. First and second multi-link connecting rod assemblies are coupled to first and second swing arms of the control shaft. A third multi-link connecting rod assembly is coupled to a third swing arm of the control shaft.

    摘要: A rotary-piston internal-combustion engine comprises a rotating block with three radially situated cylinders with pistons and an outside placed stationary case with two intake ports and two exhaust ports. Between the rotating block and the stationary case there are sealing parts and connecting rods, connected to one crank pin of a crankshaft. Between the crankshaft and the rotating block there is gearing for three times higher revolutions of the crankshaft in the opposite direction with respect to the rotating block. In the stationary case there are at least two spark plugs placed on the opposite sides. The bore of cylinders is 2 to 3.5 times higher than the stroke of pistons and all sealing parts with pressure springs that seal spaces of cylinders to the outer stationary case are placed in cavities in the stationary case.

    摘要: A cylinder head adapted to be mounted to a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine has a cooling jacket at least partially integrated in the cylinder head. The engine has two groups of cylinders: inside cylinders and outside cylinders. Each cylinder has at least one exhaust port, each leading to an individual duct. Individual ducts of outside cylinders converge to form an outside combined duct. In a four-cylinder engine or cylinder head, individual ducts of inside cylinders converge to form an inside combined duct with the inside combined duct remaining separated from the outside combined duct by the cooling jacket. The inside combined duct is farther away from the mounting surface of the cylinder head to the cylinder block than the outside combined duct. The cooling jacket includes: upper, middle, and lower cooling jackets and connectors between the upper and lower cooling jackets.

    摘要: A cylinder sleeve for being inserted in a cylinder bore defined in a block body of a cylinder block for an internal combustion engine. The cylinder bore includes a first annular recess and a second annular recess, and projecting walls. The cylinder sleeve comprises a hollow cylindrical body that is inserted into the cylinder block with at least part of an outer circumferential wall thereof adjacent to an inner circumferential wall of the projecting walls of the cylinder block, a larger-diameter portion projecting diametrally outwardly from an upper end of the outer circumferential wall of the hollow cylindrical body, a step disposed on an outer circumferential wall of said larger-diameter portion, by which the larger-diameter portions of adjacent cylinder sleeves are stacked, and a reduced-diameter portion provided by reducing a diameter of an inner circumferential wall of said hollow cylindrical body. The reduced-diameter portion is located at a position adjacent to the projecting walls of the cylinder block and is removed after the cylinder sleeve inserts into the cylinder bore. A method for inserting the cylinder sleeve into the cylinder bore with a friction stir welding is also disclosed.
