摘要: An apparatus for assembling an engine includes an engine jig configured to load the engine on which a pump sprocket, a cam sprocket, an auto tensioner, and an engine belt are preliminarily mounted. The apparatus includes: a pump sprocket fastening unit disposed on a first die disposed on a first side of the engine jig and configured to clamp and fully fasten the pump sprocket in order to fixedly mount the pump sprocket preliminarily mounted to the engine; a cam sprocket fastening unit disposed on the first die and configured to clamp, rotate, and fully fasten the cam sprocket in order to fixedly mount the cam sprocket preliminarily mounted to the engine; and an auto tensioner fastening unit disposed on the first die, and configured to clamp, rotate, and fully fasten the auto tensioner in order to fixedly mount the auto tensioner preliminarily mounted to the engine.

摘要: A method is disclosed for adaptively controlling an engine system of a motor vehicle comprising the steps of evaluating the outputs from angular position sensors associated with inlet and exhaust camshafts of an engine of the engine system to establish whether differences between the currently measured positions and previously saved positions are the result of elongation of an endless drive used to drive the camshafts or due to some other reason. If it is confirmed that the differences are due to elongation of the endless drive then the measured values of angular position are used in the control of a number of engine functions.

摘要: An engine comprising an engine body and a nonconductive engine part attached to the engine body which are positively charged. A self-discharge type static eliminator is provided which, if placed on the nonconductive engine part, can lower the amount of carried charge on the wall surface of the nonconductive engine part in a limited range centered about the location of the placement of the static eliminator. The self-discharge type static eliminator is placed on the outer wall surface of the connecting part of the engine part to the engine body to whereby eliminate a static electricity from the engine body.

摘要: A camshaft phaser includes an input member and an output member defining an advance chamber and a retard chamber; a valve body having a valve bore which extends along an axis, an annular groove extending radially outward from the valve bore and having a first width in the direction of the axis, and a passage which opens into the annular groove and which extends from the valve bore through the valve body radially outward from the valve bore such that the passage has a second width in the direction of the axis that is greater than the first width of the annular groove. The camshaft phaser also includes a valve spool which moves along the axis within said valve bore, the valve spool having a land which varies a flow area between the valve bore and the annular groove and between the valve bore and the passage.

摘要: A rotor for a hydraulic camshaft adjuster. The rotor includes a first rotor element and a second rotor element. At least one of the rotor elements has oil channels separated from each other by radially arranged elevations. Each elevation of the first rotor element has a first joining profile and the second rotor element forms a complementary-shaped second joining profile corresponding to the position of each first joining profile, wherein the first and the second joining profile engage with each other in the assembled rotor. The first joining profile of the first rotor element has a notch and an elevation and the second joining profile of the second rotor element has a notch and an elevation formed in such a way that prior to the joining of the two rotor elements, a height of the elevation of the second joining profile, which engages in a notch of the first joining profile, is less than a height of the notch of the first joining profile, and a height of the elevation of the first joining profile, which engages in a notch-of the second joining profile, is less than a height of the notch of the second joining profile.

摘要: A valve timing adjusting device includes a housing, a vane rotor, a sleeve, and a spool. The housing includes a timing pulley connected to a crank shaft through a dry belt, and rotates in association with the crank shaft. The sleeve includes a supply port, a drain port, a first control port, a second control port, and a first drain oil channel. The spool includes an oil connection channel that is arranged at an axial center portion of the spool and controls the supply port to be connected with the first control port or the second control port depending on an axial-direction position. The drain port is connected with a first drain space through a second drain oil channel. A second drain space is connected with the first drain space through a third drain oil channel that is provided to span the vane rotor and the cam shaft.
