摘要: An internal combustion engine piston includes a crown surface including a low thermal conductivity part lower in thermal conductivity than a base material. The low thermal conductivity part includes a porous member made of a glass material lower in thermal conductivity than the base material, and impregnated with the base material. A first material is interposed at least partly between the porous member and the base material in the low thermal conductivity part, wherein the first material is water-soluble, and has a higher melting point than the porous member.

摘要: A supercharger constructed in accordance to one example of the present disclosure includes a housing, first and second rotors, a bearing plate and a pair of sleeves. The first and second rotors are received in cylindrical overlapping chambers of the housing, the first rotor supported by a first rotor shaft, the second rotor supported by a second rotor shaft. The bearing plate is coupled to the housing and has an oil cavity side and an air cavity side. The bearing plate is formed of aluminum. The pair of sleeves can be received by the bearing plate and support respective bearings rotatably supporting respective first and second axle shafts. The pair of sleeves are formed of steel.

摘要: The present invention relates to an aluminum alloy having low density and enhanced heat resistance. An aluminum alloy having improved high temperature physical properties comprises: magnesium (Mg) in an amount of about 7 to about 11 wt %, silicon (Si) in an amount of about 4 to about 8 wt %, copper (Cu) in an amount of about 0.5 to about 2 wt % and manganese (Mn) in an amount of about 0.3 to about 0.7 wt %, and a balance of aluminum based on the total weight of the aluminum alloy. Vehicle parts such as a piston, a housing and/or a bed plate of high power engine, to which the aluminum alloy may be applied, are provided as well.

摘要: A piston for use in 4 Cycle reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines. The one embodiment includes a multifunctional Engraving or Imprint that is machined into the crown of the piston. This “Imprint” consists of concentric circles of metal removed in a machining process resulting in the compartments of the functional areas within the crown of the piston connected by either the height and or cross drillings within the Imprint. The functional result is to create low and high pressure zones within the crown of the piston as it proceeds upward on the compression stroke facilitating the creation of an active moving rotational swirl in the outer 25% on the top surface area of the piston circumference. The active swirl pattern results in ultimate homogenization of the air fuel mixture leaving no area of the combustion chamber with weak or separated air and fuel molecules resulting in enhanced power and complete combustion.

摘要: A piston for an internal combustion engine and method of construction thereof are provided. The piston includes an upper crown formed at least in part by a first metal material and a thermally insulating insert. The upper crown has an upper wall forming an upper combustion surface and a ring belt region. The upper combustion surface is formed at least in part by the thermally insulating insert. The thermally insulating insert has a base surface with pores extending upwardly therein. The first metal material is infused and solidified in the pores, with the first metal material forming a first bonding surface. The piston further includes a body portion formed from a second metal material. The body portion provides pin bosses having coaxially aligned pin bores and diametrically opposite skirt portions. The body portion has a second bonding surface bonded to the first bonding surface of the first metal material.

摘要: A piston of an internal combustion engine includes a crown portion; a pair of thrust-side and counter-thrust-side skirt portions; and a pair of apron portions connecting the thrust-side skirt portion with the counter-thrust-side skirt portion. Each of the pair of apron portions includes an upper end wall connected with the crown portion, and a pin boss portion supporting a piston pin. A reverse-surface-side portion of the crown portion is formed with a hollow portion extending along an outer surface of the upper end wall of the apron portion. The upper end wall of the apron portion includes a bending portion between an outside surface of the pin boss portion and a circumferential end of the skirt portion. The bending portion bends in a step-like manner from the outside surface of the pin boss portion toward the circumferential end of the skirt portion.

摘要: A light-weight, high-strength compressor component having at least one fluid delivery feature that is formed via additive manufacturing is provided. The component may have at least one interior region comprising a lattice structure that comprises a plurality of repeating cells. A solid surface is disposed over the lattice structure. The interior region comprising the lattice structure has at least one fluid delivery feature for permitting fluid flow through the body portion of the light-weight, high-strength compressor component. The fluid delivery feature may be a flow channel, a fluid delivery port, a porous fluid delivery feature, or the like that serves to transfer fluids through the component, such as refrigerant and/or lubricant oils. Methods of making such compressor components via additive manufacturing processes are also provided.

摘要: In a two-stroke engine including a scavenging port (43b) having an open end (42d) opening out in a side wall of the cylinder bore (3a) and communicating with a crank chamber (2a), the open end being configured to be closed and opened by the piston (22), a fuel injection device (71) is mounted on the engine main body so as to inject fuel onto a back side of the piston and/or a part of the side wall of the cylinder bore located under the piston via the open end of the scavenging port or via the open lower end of the cylinder bore. The fuel deposited on the surfaces of the piston and the cylinder inner wall promotes the cooling of such parts.

The piston skirt comprises piston bores provided with hub bores, which are arranged over the hub connections on the underside of the piston head. The piston hubs are interconnected over the running surfaces. According to the invention, the wall of the cooling channel which extends in the region of the annular part comprises an inclined portion and together with the central axis of the piston (M), forms an acute angle (a). At least one bore which is closed towards the outside is arranged between a running surface and a hub bore such that the at least one bore leads into the cooling channel, and that the cooling channel and the at least one bore contain a coolant in the form of a metal or a metal alloy which have a low-melting point.
