    Abstract: An underwater watercraft including a passenger compartment and an ingress/egress port in which the watercraft has buoyancy and center of gravity adjusted to maintain a generally level or other desired attitude when submerged, and an optionally angled attitude at a water surface for ingress/egress. The attitude is also adjustable via the placement of ballast and optionally including a movable ballast that adjusts the location of the center of gravity as desired. The ingress-egress port optionally includes an entry elevated from a main passenger compartment and including a riser and optionally removable or concealable handrails. The ingress-egress port has an angled orientation in a submerged mode, and an optional orientation generally parallel to the water surface or angled but above the surface in a surface mode.

    Abstract: A support strut has an upper end rotatable supported at a bottom of a vessel and a lower end supporting a casing. A first electric motor within the casing drives a propeller via a first shaft. An annular nozzle surrounds an outer perimeter of the propeller and is fixedly supported on the casing, with a support construction comprising at least three vanes extending in the radial direction between the outer perimeter of the casing and the inner perimeter of the nozzle. A duct for water flow is formed through the interior of the annular nozzle. The propeller pulls the vessel in a driving direction. The vanes are positioned after the propeller in the driving direction of the vessel, whereby the vanes are optimized for redirecting rotational flow components of the flow produced by the propeller into axial thrust.

    Abstract: A twin hull foldout watercraft that quickly and easily deploys from a small mobile and portable size unit that will fit into a vehicle or stow in a closet, camper or larger boat to a dry stable watercraft that could be used with small motor, paddles, ores, stand up paddles, push poles or sail and which has all parts and accessories attached thereto. The twin hull foldout watercraft comprises a central deck, two side mounted hull flaps hingedly attached to the opposing side edges of the central deck and positionable in a vertical or horizontal position, a fore deck extension member hingedly attached to the front edge of the central deck and positionable in a vertical or horizontal position, and an aft deck extension member hingedly attached to the rear edge and which can be extended out from the rear of the central deck.

    Abstract: A submersible ROV is provided with four independently controllable swivel thruster assemblies that allow the submersible ROV to simulate the movement of a person equipped with scuba gear. The submersible ROV receives control signals from a controller located on the surface of the water or on land. The submersible ROV senses and transmits audio and visual images and transmits those signals to a base receiver located on the surface of the water or on land. Signals are transmitted to and from the submersible ROV via a tether. The tether may be connected either directly to the controller/base receiver or may be connected to an intermediate floating ROV with a power supply and wireless communication relay station. A person can vicariously experience scuba diving via the submersible ROV while remaining dry and safe on land or on a surface vehicle.
