摘要: An adsorbent of the invention, which is an adsorbent for removing carbonyl sulfide in a stream containing an olefin, contains copper oxide and an aluminum compound, in which a content of the aluminum compound ranges from 10 mass % to 50 mass % in terms of Al, and an NH3 desorption in a temperature region ranging from 100 degrees C. to 200 degrees C. as measured by NH3-TPD measurement is more than 0.001 mmol/g and 1 mmol/g or less.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method of separating a compound of interest, particularly unsaturated compound(s) of interest, from a mixture. The compound is separated using a column having a chromatographic stationary phase material for various different modes of chromatography containing a first substituent and a second substituent. The first substituent minimizes compound retention variation over time under chromatographic conditions. The second substituent chromatographically and selectively retains the compound by incorporating one or more aromatic, polyaromatic, heterocyclic aromatic, or polyheterocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon groups, each group being optionally substituted with an aliphatic group. In some examples, the present disclosure can include a chromatographic system having a chromatographic column having a stationary phase with a chromatographic substrate containing silica, metal oxide, an inorganic-organic hybrid material, a group of block copolymers, or a combination thereof.

摘要: The present invention relates to a surface modified zeolite adsorbent wherein the surface of said zeolite is modified with a coating comprised of a silicone derived species, said zeolite having a mean crystal size from about 5 to about 10 μm and a skeletal density of ≥1.10 gr./cc. The invention is based on the discovery that larger crystals tend to have higher particle density, and the packing of the larger crystals in agglomeration processes leads to more idealized packing to provide a larger mean-pore diameter. The surface modified adsorbent provides rate selectivity for one gas over others is described. The superior adsorbent has the added convenience of bead forming simultaneously with pore modification as well as having the treatment result in the yielding of high crush strength products.

摘要: The invention relates to a method of producing an activated substrate comprising: •(a) modifying a substrate, wherein the substrate comprises a base matrix, to form a base matrix comprising a leaving group; •(b) contacting the base matrix formed in step (a) with an aminating agent, to thereby provide an aminated base matrix; and •(c) contacting the aminated base matrix formed in step (b) with a heteroaromatic compound, wherein the heteroaromatic compound is a 5 to 12 membered heteroaromatic ring substituted with at least two halogens and optionally one or more further substituents, to produce an activated substrate. The activated substrate maybe contacted with a molecule comprising a ligand specific for a biomolecule to provide a scaffold for isolation of the biomolecule.

摘要: This invention generally relates to a process for manufacturing a lithium selective adsorbent and, more particularly, to a process for manufacturing a lithium selective adsorbent using a recycled and augmented intercalation reaction liquor. An initial quantity of adsorbent precursor is intercalated with lithium using an intercalation reaction liquor to produce an intercalated layered aluminate adsorbent and a post-intercalation reaction liquor. The post-intercalation reaction liquor is decanted, and the intercalated layered aluminate adsorbent is neutralized to produce the lithium selective adsorbent. The decanted intercalation reaction liquor is reconstituted to a pre-intercalation reaction volume of the intercalation reaction liquor, which is recycled to intercalate a subsequent quantity of adsorbent precursor.

摘要: The disclosure generally relates to CCS sorbents, particularly for CO2/H2O displacement desorption process. The sorbents include an aluminum oxide support that includes alkali metal salts within the support, in the form of pseudo alkali aluminate. The sorbents also include alkali metal salt impregnated on the support. The sorbents demonstrate improved CO2 loadings and better H2O/CO2 ratios, as well as improved stability. Compositions and methods of making are disclosed.
