摘要: In one aspect, the present invention provides a chromatographic stationary phase material for various different modes of chromatography represented by Formula 1: [X](W)a(Q)b(T)c (Formula 1). X can be a high purity chromatographic core composition having a surface comprising a silica core material, metal oxide core material, an inorganic-organic hybrid material or a group of block copolymers thereof. W can be absent and/or can include hydrogen and/or can include a hydroxyl on the surface of X. Q can be a functional group that minimizes retention variation over time (drift) under chromatographic conditions utilizing low water concentrations. T can include one or more hydrophilic, polar, ionizable, and/or charged functional groups that chromatographically interact with the analyte. Additionally, b and c can be positive numbers, with the ratio 0.05≤(b/c)≤100, and a≥0.

摘要: A method for producing a chromatography medium by:
a) exposing a nanoweb sheet having mean flow pore size from 0.1 to 5 μm and a porosity from 40 to 90 volume % to a gaseous phase comprising a vinyl monomer to produce a functionalized nanoweb sheet;
b) layering a plurality of functionalized nanoweb sheets to form a functionalized nanoweb stack;
c) cutting the functionalized nanoweb stack with a die to form die-cut functionalized nanoweb stacks having regular shapes; and
d) exposing the die-cut functionalized nanoweb stacks in an aqueous medium to a ligand such as a protein which is capable of forming covalent bonds.-

摘要: An activated carbon for adsorbing neutral per- and polyfluoroalkyl compounds used in quantitative analysis of neutral per- and polyfluoroalkyl compounds in a water sample includes an activated carbon having a BET specific surface area of 900 m2/g or more for desorbably adsorbing neutral per- and polyfluoroalkyl compounds distributed in a gas phase from the water sample by aerating or bubbling, with an inert gas as a carrier gas, the water sample sealed in a vessel and temperature-controlled to a temperature at which the neutral per- and polyfluoroalkyl compounds can be distributed in a gas phase.

摘要: The invention relates to a stationary phase medium for adsorption chromatography, which is in form of porous particles suitable for being packed into a chromatographic column. The porous particles are made of cross-linked polymeric material and formed with interconnected macropores to constitute a porous network, through which a mobile phase fluid may flow in a convective manner. The porous particles are substantially free of diffusive pores and, thus, the mass transfer through the porous network is governed by convection alone. The porous particles are fabricated to have irregular granular configurations with rough outer surfaces, so that the convective flow between the porous particles will not be impeded during chromatography process.

The linker is covalently bound to both the polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane moiety and the exterior surface of the solid support.

摘要: Presented herein is a new concept of uniformly spin coating a flat surface with a stationary phase and creating a gas chromatography column by pressing a grooved lid, with micro-stamped ridges, down onto the coated substrate. The lids are molded out of commercially available rigid materials including epoxies so that when pressed onto a flat surface it will create an air tight seal. The epoxy material is rendered inert by a thin layer of gold.

摘要: The present invention relates to a chromatography ligand, which comprises Domain C from Staphylococcus protein A (SpA), or a functional fragment or variant thereof. The chromatography ligand presents an advantageous capability of withstanding harsh cleaning in place (CIP) conditions, and is capable of binding Fab fragments of antibodies. The ligand may be provided with a terminal coupling group, such as arginine or cysteine, to facilitate its coupling to an insoluble carrier such as beads or a membrane. The invention also relates process of using the ligand in isolation of antibodies, and to a purification protocol which may include washing steps and/or regeneration with alkali.
