摘要: An extraction column (1) is used, which includes a first column (10) having an adsorbent layer (100) with a silver nitrate silica gel layer (110) and a sulfuric silica gel layer (130) and a second column (20) detachably coupled to the first column (10) and filled with a trapping layer (200) capable of trapping an organic halogen compound. The trapping layer (200) includes a trapping material having a granular carrier containing aluminum oxide and fine particle-shaped silver held on a surface of the carrier. An aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent is supplied to the adsorbent layer (100) to which an organic halogen compound-containing solution has been added, and passes through the adsorbent layer (100) and the trapping layer (200) in this order. A solvent for extraction of the organic halogen compound is supplied to the trapping layer (200) from the lower side of the second column (20), and the extraction solvent having passed through the trapping layer (200) is obtained through a branched path (22).

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method of separating a compound of interest, particularly unsaturated compound(s) of interest, from a mixture. The compound is separated using a column having a chromatographic stationary phase material for various different modes of chromatography containing a first substituent and a second substituent. The first substituent minimizes compound retention variation over time under chromatographic conditions. The second substituent chromatographically and selectively retains the compound by incorporating one or more aromatic, polyaromatic, heterocyclic aromatic, or polyheterocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon groups, each group being optionally substituted with an aliphatic group. In some examples, the present disclosure can include a chromatographic system having a chromatographic column having a stationary phase with a chromatographic substrate containing silica, metal oxide, an inorganic-organic hybrid material, a group of block copolymers, or a combination thereof.

摘要: Methods for separating Ra from Pb, Bi, and Th are provided, the methods can include: providing a first mixture comprising Ra, Pb, Bi, and/or Th; providing a system that can include: a first vessel housing a first media; a second vessel in fluid communication with the first vessel, the second vessel housing a second media; and a third vessel in fluid communication with the second vessel, the third vessel housing a third media; and exposing the first mixture to the first media within the first vessel then, through the fluid communication, exposing the first remainder to the second media in the second vessel, then, through fluid communication, exposing the next remainder to the third media in the third vessel, the exposing separating the Th and Bi from the Ra and Pb, and the Ra from the Pb. Methods for separating Ra from being associated with a media are also provided. The methods can include: exposing the Ra and media to a chelating agent to form a mixture comprising the Ra complexed with the chelating agent.

摘要: A capillary column includes a fused silica tubing, a polyimide coating over the fusing silica tubing, and a first plurality of integrated ferrules positioned along at least a first portion of the fused silica tubing and spaced apart from one another by a first fixed interval. Each of the first plurality of integrated ferrules includes a first deformable surface and a second deformable surface. The first plurality of integrated ferrules are secured to the column through deformation of the first deformable surface and the second deformable surface is configured to form a seal with a junction when secured with a nut.
