Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for detecting and mitigating stack pivoting exploits. In aspects, various “checkpoints” may be identified in software code. At each checkpoint, the current stack pointer, stack base, and stack limit for each mode of execution may be obtained. The current stack pointer for each mode of execution may be evaluated to determine whether the stack pointer falls within a stack range between the stack base and the stack limit of the respective mode of execution. When the stack pointer is determined to be outside of the expected stack range, a stack pivot exploit is detected and one or more remedial actions may be automatically performed.

An upstream pipe is detachably provided on the column cartridge in a state of being installed at the column installation position, and supplies a mobile phase to the separation column of the column cartridge. A downstream pipe is detachably provided on the column cartridge in a state of being installed at the column installation position, and delivers the mobile phase that has passed through the separation column of the column cartridge. A cover integrally covers the column installation position, the upstream pipe, and the downstream pipe and has an insertion hole that allows the column cartridge to be installed from the outer side of the cover.

The present invention provides a high throughput method to quantify and characterize the size and integrity of viruses and viral molecules. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a method to quantify and characterize size and integrity of Foot and Mouth Disease virus (FMDV) using chromatographic system and in-line Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) technique. In one embodiment, the present invention further comprises a column-switching system for running multiple analyses simultaneously. The present invention also provides a method to develop and evaluate FMDV containing products for preventing Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD). In one embodiment, the methods described herein assess the stability of FMDV. In another embodiment, the methods described herein serve as in-process quality control for a manufacturing process of FMD vaccine.

A multicapillary bundle for use in a gas chromatograph. Each of the capillaries in the bundle is formed using a coating solution containing a stationary phase and a solvent. The capillaries are coated with stationary phase by reducing pressure at a vacuum end of the capillary and creating a moving interface between the coating solution and a film of stationary phase deposited on each of the capillaries. The reducing pressure at the vacuum end of the capillary and the temperature of the capillary are controlled to maintain motion of the moving interface away from the vacuum end of the capillary. Maintained movement of the interface prevents recoating of the stationary phase. A heating wire and capillaries are embedded in a thermally conductive polymer to create a highly responsive method of heating the multicapillary column. An electronic control device controls the feedback temperature of the multicapillary column using the heating wire.
