摘要: The present invention is directed to polyethylene-based compositions suitable for packaging applications, films, and articles. The polyethylene-based composition according to embodiments disclosed herein includes a polyethylene composition having a first polyethylene fraction and a second polyethylene fraction as well as a calcium salt of 1,2-cyclohexanedicarbodylic acid. The polyethylene-based composition can deliver a balance of properties, including barrier properties, for packaging applications.

摘要: A polymer blend is provided comprising: (A) multistage polymer, comprising: acrylate rich stage comprising: structural units of monoethylenically unsaturated non-ionic, acrylate rich stage monomer selected from C1-22 alkyl (meth)acrylates and mixtures thereof; and carbosiloxane rich stage, comprising: structural units of carbosiloxane monomer of formula (I); and (B) silicone-grafted vinyl copolymer, wherein the silicone-grafted vinyl copolymer, comprises: structural units of a vinyl (B) monomer; and structural units of a carbosiloxane dendrimer of formula (V). Also provided are personal care formulations comprising the polymer blend.

摘要: A process for preparing a waterborne dispersion of a silicone pressure sensitive adhesive base includes the use of a solventless polyorganosiloxane pellet containing a polyorganosilicate resin and a polyorganosiloxane gum. The waterborne dispersion of the silicone pressure sensitive adhesive base can be combined with a free radical initiator, and dried and cured to form a silicone pressure sensitive adhesive.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a composition. 摘要: In one embodiment, a multilayer structure may include a machine direction oriented (MDO) multilayer film, a first layer, and a sealant layer. The MDO multilayer film may include (i) a metal layer and (ii) an inner layer. The inner layer may include EVOH: PVOH: or a blend of polyethylene and an interpolymer of ethylene and methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, or carboxylic acid. The first layer may be extruded onto the metal layer. The first layer may include an interpolymer of ethylene and acry lic acid or methacrylic acid. The interpolymer may have a melt index (12) of 5 to 20 g/10 minutes. an acid content of 1 to 10 weight percent and a melting temperature of 90° C. to 100° C. The sealant layer may include a polyethylene having a melt index (I2) of 3 to 30 g/10 minutes and a heat seal initiation temperature of 95° C. or less.

摘要: An aqueous dispersion containing (meth)acrylate polymer particles and substituted silsesquioxane-based particles dispersed in an aqueous carrier, wherein: (a) the substituted silsesquioxane-based particles have an volume-average size of 5 nanometers or more and at the same time less than 500 nanometers as determined by dynamic light scattering; and (b) the substituted silsesquioxane-based particles are substituted only with one or more than one moiety selected from a group consisting of alkyl, aryl, hydroxyl, trace amounts of alkoxy and combinations thereof and contain 50 mole-percent or less hydroxyl substitution in the form silanol functionalities relative to moles of substituted silsesquioxane-based particle as determined by infrared spectroscopy.
