Abstract: A bottoms cracking catalyst composition, comprising: about 30 to about 60 wt % alumina; greater than 0 to about 10 wt % of a dopant, measured as the oxide; about 2 to about 20 wt % reactive silica; about 3 to about 20 wt % of a component comprising peptizable boehmite, colloidal silica, aluminum chlorohydrol, or a combination of any two or more thereof, and about 10 to about 50 wt % of kaolin.

the nickel is distributed both on a crust at the periphery of the support, and in the core of the support, the thickness of said crust being between 2% and 15% of the diameter of the catalyst;
the nickel density ratio between the crust and the core is strictly greater than 3;
said crust comprises more than 25% by weight of nickel element relative to the total weight of nickel contained in the catalyst,
the size of the nickel particles in the catalyst, measured in oxide form, is between 7 and 25 nm.-

Abstract: A method of forming an AEI-type zeolite in a hydrothermal synthesis without the use of hydrogen fluoride (HF) and in the absence of any FAU zeolite Y. A gel composition formed upon using this method includes one or more sources of silica; one or more sources of alumina, one or more organic structure directing agents (OSDA); a source of alkali metal ions; and water. This gel composition is defined by the molar ratios of: SiO2/AI2O3 16:1 to 100:1; M2O/SiO2 0.15:1 to 0.30:1; ROH/SiO2 0.05:1 to 0.20:1; and H2O/SiO2 5:1 to 20:1; wherein M is the alkali metal ion and R is an organic moiety derived from the OSDA. This gel composition, after reacting at a temperature between 135° C. to about 180° C. for 15 hours to 168 hours forms the crystalline AEI-type zeolite having a silica to alumina ratio (SiO2:AI2O3) that is greater than 8:1.

Abstract: A catalyst structure for synthesis gas production is used to produce a synthesis gas that includes carbon monoxide and hydrogen. The structure includes a carrier with a porous structure that comprises a zeolite-type compound; first catalyst particles that contain at least one iron-group element selected from the group consisting of nickel, iron, and cobalt; and a second catalyst that contains at least one transition metal element with redox capacity. Abstract: A process for producing a target compound includes forming a feed mixture containing at least one reactant compound. The feed mixture is distributed to parallel reaction tubes of one or more shell-and-tube reactors and subjected to oxidative catalytic conversion in the reaction tubes. Steam is added to the feed mixture in an amount such that a steam fraction of the feed mixture is 5 to 95 vol %, oxygen is added to the feed mixture in the form of a fluid containing at least 95 vol % oxygen, and the oxidative catalytic conversion is carried out using one or more catalysts containing the metals molybdenum, vanadium, niobium and optionally tellurium.

Abstract: An alkali metal ion modified titanium silicalite zeolite TS-1 for gas phase epoxidation of propylene and hydrogen peroxide and a preparation method thereof. The method includes: 1: preparing an alkali metal hydroxide modification solution containing a small amount of TPA+ ions; 2: conducting a controlled hydrothermal treatment on a TS-1 zeolite matrix by using the alkali metal hydroxide solution containing a small amount of TPA+ ions; and 3: conducting post-treatment on the hydrothermally modified TS-1 zeolite. In the washing process, the modified TS-1 zeolite wet material is washed with a low concentration alkali metal hydroxide solution; and alkali metal ions are reserved on the silicon hydroxyl of the modified titanium silicalite zeolite. The prepared alkali metal ion modified titanium silicalite zeolite has significantly improved catalytic performance in the gas phase epoxidation of propylene and hydrogen peroxide.

The metal-supported support may be additionally heat-treated in moisture-containing air at a second temperature that is higher than the first temperature.
