摘要: Methods for producing highly spherical particles that comprise: mixing a mixture comprising: (a) nanoclay-filled-polymer composite comprising a nanoclay dispersed in a thermoplastic polymer, (b) a carrier fluid that is immiscible with the thermoplastic polymer of the nanoclay-filled-polymer composite, optionally (c) a thermoplastic polymer not filled with a nanoclay, and optionally (d) an emulsion stabilizer at a temperature at or greater than a melting point or softening temperature of the thermoplastic polymer of the nanoclay-filled-polymer and the thermoplastic polymer, when included, to disperse the nanoclay-filled-polymer composite in the carrier fluid; cooling the mixture to below the melting point or softening temperature to form nanoclay-filled-polymer particles; and separating the nanoclay-filled-polymer particles from the carrier fluid.

摘要: Disclosed are an aerogel with a hierarchical pore structure formed using a pulsed laser technology, and a preparation method and use thereof. In the preparation method, a nano silicon-containing inorganic material as a freezing element, a biomass polymer as a cross-linking agent, and deionized water as a solvent are mixed and a resulting mixture is left to stand and gelatinized to obtain a hydrogel; the hydrogel is frozen to form ice crystals therein, and the ice crystals are removed by freeze-drying to obtain a micron-nano porous aerogel; the micron-nano porous aerogel is subjected to customized millimeter-scale punching using a pulsed laser to obtain an aerogel with a millimeter-micron-nano hierarchical pore structure.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a polymer composite, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The polymer composite comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts polymer powder, 0.1-3 parts nanoparticle A, and 0.05-1.5 parts nanoparticle B. The particle size of nanoparticle A is smaller than that of nanoparticle B, and the mass ratio of nanoparticle A to nanoparticle B is (1-9):1. The small-particle size and large-particle size nanoparticles used in the present application are compounded in a specific ratio, and the two act synergistically as flow agents for the polymer powder, so that the polymer composite has excellent fluidity, permeability and high temperature stability.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a polyacetal, or polyoxymethylene (POM), base composition which contains an additive package containing additives suitable for food processing applications. Polyacetal or polyoxymethylene polymers are of the class of polymers containing —CH2O-repeat units, useful for molding all different types of products and articles. Of particular advantage, POM produced according to the present disclosure may demonstrate low formaldehyde emissions, extractables, or both, when measured by standard methods without containing any formaldehyde scavenger packages.
