摘要: Provided is a coating composition that can more readily eliminate clouding of a substrate caused by the fogging phenomenon and can maintain higher transparency of a coating film than some coating compositions. The coating composition includes: silica fine particles having an average particle size of 3 nm or larger and 25 nm or smaller; metal oxide fine particles; a solvent having a boiling point of 150 degrees C. or higher and 300 degrees C. or lower, and water. The amount of the silica fine particles is 0.1 mass % or more and 5 mass % or less. The amount of the solvent is 20 mass % or more and 70 mass % or less.

摘要: Forsterite particles have an average size of 0.1 μm to 10 μm and a dielectric loss tangent of 0.0003 to 0.0025. Sphericity=(Average particle size (μm) measured with a laser diffraction particle size distribution analyzer)/(Average primary particle size (μm) calculated by conversion using specific surface area measured by a nitrogen gas adsorption method) may be from 1.0 to 3.3. This method for producing forsterite particles may include: step (A): mixing a magnesium compound as a magnesium source and a silicon compound as a silicon source so MgO/SiO2 has a molar ratio of 1.90 to 2.10 to prepare particles; step (B): putting the particles prepared in step (A) into a hydrocarbon combustion flame to recover the resulting particles; and step (C): firing the particles obtained in step (B) at 700° C. to 1100° C. The ratio between a resin and the particles may be 1:0.001 to 1000 by mass ratio.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a coating for battery separator, a preparation method thereof, a battery separator and a battery, where a coating slurry of the coating for the battery separator includes a dispersion medium, a nanomaterial, and a polymer containing polar functional groups; the coating has a surface pore size of 10 nm-30 nm, and a surface roughness of 200 nm-500 nm, and the coating has a hydroxyl content of 100 mg KOH/g-4000 mg KOH/g. The coating for battery separator, the preparation method thereof, the battery separator and the battery can solve a problem of deformation of battery separators due to the induction of electrolyte solutions.

摘要: Described are bonding modulating coatings configured to provide an improved release profile of a volatile composition from a scent reservoir, wherein the modulating coating includes a barrier substance configured to hinder the release of the volatile composition through the modulating coating. The modulating coating also includes a hygroscopic substance that facilitates the release of the volatile composition through the modulating coating. The barrier substance and hygroscopic substance are mixed in a proportion such that the modulating coating provides a bonding action between adjacent scent reservoirs and may be formulated to maintain bonding even under the application of heat. The bonding modulating coating may then be used to bond a number of scent reservoirs together into a larger, three-dimensional matrix to provide improved scent retention and longevity.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a play-of-color article includes the steps of: (a) providing a first mixture that contains a solvent and a plurality of functionalized colloidal particles; (b) replacing the solvent of the first mixture with a polymer solution that contains polymers, thereby obtaining a second mixture; (c) adding an initiator to the second mixture to obtain a third mixture, followed by injecting the third mixture into a mold and disturbing the third mixture, so that the third mixture is formed with a pattern; (d) leaving the third mixture to stand, so as to allow the functionalized colloidal particles therein to self-assemble to form a crystalline arrangement, thereby obtaining a fourth mixture; and (e) subjecting the polymers in the fourth mixture to a cross-linking reaction, thereby obtaining the play-of-color article. A play-of-color article manufactured by the method, and a play-of-color product including the play-of-color article are also provided.

摘要: This disclosure relates to a thermal conductive silicone composition. The composition comprises: (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon atom-bonded alkenyl groups per molecule and having a viscosity at 25° C. of from 10 to 10,000 mPa·s measured using a type B viscometer according to ASTM D 1084, (B) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule, (C) a specific adhesion promoter, (D) at least one thermal conductive filler, (E) at least one filler treating agent, and (F) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst, with the proviso that the composition does not contain a condensation catalyst. The composition exhibits good self-adhesive properties to various substrates even when it is cured at a relatively low temperature, without impairing its flowability.
