    摘要: A vibration and noise damping element including a damping layer having first and second surfaces and an adhesive layer covering at least part of the first surface. The damping layer is composed of a damping layer material with a viscosity at 60° C. of 30′000-500′000 Pa*s containing at least one rubber component and the adhesive layer is composed of an adhesive layer material with a viscosity at 60° C. of 50′000-300′000 Pa*s containing at least one rubber component. The ratio of the thickness of the damping layer d1 to the adhesive layer d2 (d1/d2) is 0.6-4.0 and the sum (d1+d2) is 0.5-2.5 mm. The element shows good performance in the ball drop test at low temperatures, has good adhesion to the substrate it is applied to, provides good vibration and noise damping properties and guarantees easy separation after storage at temperatures between 30-50° C.
