摘要: A process involves adding charged fibers with surface-cured “temperature-sensitive gel” during the preparation of concrete; preparing charged fibers with surface-cured “temperature-sensitive gel” by spraying, which envelops the charged fibers with a layer of “temperature-sensitive gel”; then solidifying the temperature-sensitive gel layer on the surface of the charged fibers by adjusting the environmental temperature. Utilizing the physical state of the temperature-sensitive gel at different temperatures, the “temperature-sensitive gel” wraps around the charged fibers to form an insulating layer. This prevents the scattering of the charged fibers due to charge repulsion during their introduction into the concrete preparation process, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

摘要: A ready-mixed composition and a pre-mix composition for the production of a concrete material containing sequestered carbon dioxide, a CO2-containing water used in such compositions, dry-batch and wet-batch processes for sequestering carbon dioxide in concrete material, general method and process for sequestering carbon dioxide in hardening concrete, system and ready-mixed truck to perform such processes and methods for the production of a ready-to-cure carbonated concrete. Compositions comprise a concrete mixture and a CO2-containing water. The CO2-containing water comprising water and at least one of blended CO2 gas bubbles, dissolved H2CO3, carbonate ions (CO32), bicarbonate ions (HCO3−), nanosized alkaline earth metal carbonate and nanosized alkali metal carbonate particles. The concrete mixture comprises a cementitious material, aggregates and at least one CO2-sequestering chemical for accelerating a CO2 sequestration speed and maximizing the captured amount of the carbon dioxide.

摘要: The present invention provides dry mix compositions for cement-based tile adhesives having both improved open time and slip resistance comprising one or more gel-like crosslinked cellulose ethers containing polyether groups, preferably, a mixed cellulose ether having polyoxypropylene dioxyethylene ether crosslinks. The gel-like water-soluble crosslinked cellulose ethers containing polyether groups of the present invention are formed from low to medium viscosity cellulose ethers and contain polyether groups having from 2 to 15, or, preferably, 13 or fewer oxyalkylene groups, or, preferably, 7 or more oxyalkylene groups. The present invention also provides methods of using the dry mixes in cement-based tile adhesives.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a method of manufacturing gypsum board as well as the resulting gypsum board. The method comprises providing a gypsum slurry with a shrinkage-reducing additive comprising a metal salt of an acid, a silica, or a mixture thereof. As a result, the gypsum board includes gypsum and a shrinkage-reducing additive comprising a metal salt of an acid, a silica, or a mixture thereof. The gypsum board exhibits an area shrinkage of less than 20%.

An applicator has: a body adapted for vertical movement; a primary arm mounted to the body for movement about a vertical axis, the arm being elongate, having ends, having a vertical axis adjacent one end and having a counterweight adjacent the other end; a secondary arm defining a vertical axis, extending from the vertical axis defined by the primary arm and configured for movement about said vertical axis; a tertiary arm mounted for movement along the secondary arm vertical axis; a rotator carried by the tertiary arm and which carries the nozzle and rotates the nozzle about a vertical axis; a primary rotation mechanism for rotating the primary arm about the primary arm axis; an actuator providing for movement of the secondary arm about the vertical axis; and an elevation mechanism providing for said tertiary arm vertical movement.

摘要: The invention relates to processes for making improved ultra-high performance microfiber concrete and articles made from the same. The invention includes blending first dry constituents of fine aggregate, steel fiber, and cement to yield a first homogenous dry mix, optionally adding carbon nanotubes and/or silicon carbide microinclusions, followed by blending with second dry constituents of silica fume, silica flour, and cenospheres to obtain a second homogenous dry mix, followed by adding water only, with further blending, and finally adding a superplasticizer admix and a water-reducing admix to obtain ultra high performance microfiber concrete. The invention also relates to voltage heating for curing and for creating heated UHPC articles.
