Abstract:
A computerized watch is described that includes a cover that forms an outer surface of the computerized watch, a screen configured to output graphical information for display, a set of physical watch hands positioned between the cover and the screen and configured to present a time of day. One or more computer processors and a memory comprising instructions. The instructions, when executed, cause the one or more computer processors to responsive to determining that the computerized watch is operating in a time display mode, manipulate the set of physical watch hands such that the set of physical watch hands present the time of day by obscuring a portion of a display region of the screen, and responsive to determining that the computerized watch is not operating in the time display mode, manipulate the set of physical watch hands such that the set of physical hands do not obscure the screen.
Abstract:
An indication device is provided. The indication device includes an elongated fluid chamber containing at least one electrically conductive liquid driven by a pump for conductive liquids and an immiscible, relatively non-conductive fluid. At least one segment of at least one fluid is used as an indicator. This segment is driven by the pump along adjacent indices of an indicator visible to an observer using a meniscus location sensor and a feedback controller so as to e.g indicate a quantity to the observer.
Abstract:
An indication device is provided which has an electrically conductive fluid driven by an MHD pump. The fluid has an indicator surface driven adjacent indices of an indicator so as to indicate a quantity. A position of the indicator surface is sensed and controlled to ensure accurate indication of the quantity. Optionally, the quantity indicated is time.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display module including a fixed frame and at least two substantially rigid display organs. The display organs each include a portion displaying a pattern, said display portions being complementary to one another such that it forms said pattern in at least one relative position of said display organs. Furthermore, at least one of the display organs is secured and movable relative to the frame via a deformable link at least between a first resting position, in which the display portions are separate from one another, and a display position, in which said display portions are counter-affixed to one another to form and display said pattern. Lastly, said display organ(s) movable relative to the frame cooperate with an actuating push-piece arranged to transmit a movement force of this display organ by elastic deformation around its deformable link(s) from said resting position toward said display position.

Abstract:
An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a first watch module and a second watch module. The first watch module may include a first body, a watch movement, a first window, and a watch hand. The second watch module may include a second body extended from the first body, a circuit board, a second window, and a second display. The first body and the second body may form a bending, and are communicated to each other.
Abstract:
A smart watch and a method of replacing components of the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the smart watch includes a display panel including a body portion having a polygonal shaped planar structure and a corner portion extending from one side of the body portion and being bent away from the surface of, and at the side of, the body portion. The smart watch also includes a housing disposed under the display panel and having an area that is smaller than the combined area of the body portion and the corner portion. The corner portion is defined by the one side of the body portion and two adjacent sides.
Abstract:
A smart watch is provided, which is used for being worn on a wrist part and includes a main body part, wherein the main body part includes a main display screen used for displaying an operation interface, an auxiliary display screen used for displaying time and a connection display part connected with the main display screen and the auxiliary display screen, the main display screen and the auxiliary display screen are both rigid, and the connection display part is flexible, such that after the smart watch is worn on the wrist part, an angle may be formed between the display surface of the main display screen and the display surface of the auxiliary display screen. The smart watch is convenient for a user to read time, which provides a new choice for users and meets the demand of market diversification.
Abstract:
A watch including a case in which there is arranged a control system, which includes a time base and is arranged to be able to perform several functions, the watch further including at least two analog display elements and a digital display controlled independently by the control system, the watch further including a control acting on the control system. The watch is arranged in a first, normal operating mode to provide the user with a time indication by the analog display elements driven by the control system fitted with the time base, and the watch is arranged in a second, special operating mode to allow the user to select a function via the control, to display on the digital display a value associated with the selected function, and to move an analog display element opposite the value associated with the selected function.
Abstract:
A system is provided for communicating to health care workers the turning, positioning and schedule requirements of dependent patients with pressure ulcers, or at risk for the development of pressure ulcers. The system includes a display indicating a clock face divided into sections each with a respective window location for displaying graphics of a display element illustrating a required lying position for the patient. Each of the display elements comprises a disk mounted on the substrate for rotation about a center axis thereof at right angles to the substrate with the graphics arranged thereon at angularly spaced positions around the axis so as to rotate a selected one of the graphics to the window to be displayed.
