    摘要: An embodiment of an electronic timepiece includes a cylindrical exterior case, a bezel and a windshield member. In the exterior case, a circuit board is housed. The bezel is formed of a metal material to be ring-shaped, includes an inward flange part that projects from an inner side surface toward a center of the ring-shaped bezel, is arranged on an outer upper side of the exterior case and is electrically connected with the circuit board. The windshield member is formed of a transparent dielectric substance, arranged in the bezel and supported by the inward flange part. The bezel is configured to resonate with a radio wave having a desired frequency by adjustment of at least one of (i) a relative permittivity of the dielectric substance and (ii) an area of an overlap region where the inward flange part and the windshield member overlap each other.

    摘要: A wristwatch that includes a concave lens and concave dial contained within a bezel and housing. The concave shape of the lens causes the upper most surface of the wristwatch to be the bezel, so the upper surface of the lens cannot be scratch if the user places the watch face down on a surface. The concave shape of the dial causes an increase in surface area for time marking indicia on the dial face. This effect combines with the concave angle of the lens to increase the appearance of the indicia and reduce glare.

    摘要: The present invention is directed toward a timepiece, such as a watch, having a protective cover with a gem set therein. The protective cover may be crystal, plastic or any other transparent and durable material. The protective cover has an aperture having concentric cuts. The setting is seated in the aperture and secured to the protective cover. The setting is configured to be of a similar size and shape as the aperture so that it may be securely affixed to the protective cover. A gasket may be inserted between the setting and the aperture to create a watertight seal in the watch cover. The timepiece may also have a hinged, hidden compartment on the backside of the watch frame. Engravings may be made in the hidden compartment, and small, thin objects may be stored therein.

    摘要: A mounting structure of plastic glass in the watch case enabling the mounting with a minimum amount of necessary deflection of the glass for preventing the crack of the glass. The glass has a radially extending projection in the lower portion of the periphery thereof and the watch case has a recess which has a radially extending groove which is adapted to engage the projection of the glass. The recess is provided with a beveled guiding portion at the entrance edge thereof and the projection has a beveled guiding portion at the leading edge thereof. The glass may be inserted into the recess of the case with the projection sliding on the beveled guiding edge of the recess.
