Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a polymer composition comprising polymer and carbonaceous filler comprising the steps of: a. introducing a first portion of polymer and a first portion of carbonaceous filler into a first feed section of an extruder, b. introducing a second portion of polymer and optionally a second portion of carbonaceous filler into a second feed section located downstream of the first feed section of the extruder, and c. extruding the resulting polymer composition; wherein the polymer composition comprises 0.01 to 3 wt. % of the carbonaceous filler relative to the total weight of the polymer composition.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to an actuating apparatus (1) for a vehicle door handle arrangement, such as an inner door handle arrangement. Abstract: A drug injection device consists of a body, a cap, a striker, a spin wheel, a button, a spring, an ampoule, and optionally a needle. Each of the body, the cap, the striker, the spin wheel and the button is a molded plastic part, made out of mostly polycarbonate, which slide, snap, screw or rest in place, without the use of adhesives or fasteners. Also disclosed is a system for recycling a drug injection device having molded plastic parts made from mostly polycarbonates, comprising disassembling the drug injection device, separating the molded plastic parts from all other parts, and reprocessing the molded plastic parts together into recycled resin, which may be through regrinding, melting, and pelletizing.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an anti-blue light anti-infrared resin lens having a refractivity of 1.50, and a preparation method thereof. The lens comprises 100 parts by weight of CR39 resin monomer, 0.5-5 parts by weight of an initiator, and 1.0216-30.6 parts by weight of an additive, where the additive includes an anti-infrared absorber, a blue light absorber, and a hardness modifier at a weight ratio of 0.0005-0.5:0.001-10:1-10, the initiator is benzoyl peroxide, dicumyl peroxide, or 1,1-di-tert-butylperoxy-3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexane. The resin lens prepared in the present invention has both blue light absorption effect and near-infrared absorption effect and is capable of being dyed as needed to have the effect of sunglasses, while the quality of the lens is guaranteed. The resin lens is a new type of multifunctional resin lens.

Therefore, the fixation between the first injection-molded component and the second injection-molded component may be achieved without additional injection, and breakage and damage of the fastening boss and the fastening hole may be prevented.

Abstract: Disclosed is a molding tool for producing a composite part using induction heating. The molding tool has a mold with a contact surface adapted to be in contact with a material to be transformed into a composite part, and an outer surface. The mold is configured to be inductively heated by at least one main coil arranged in a meander-like pattern on the outer surface of the mold, such that a magnetic field generated by an alternating electric current flowing through the at least one main coil induces currents in at least parts of the mold to be heated, and at least one perimeter coil arranged on the outer surface of the mold configured to delimit at least one area of the mold to be inductively heated. The at least one main coil and the at least one perimeter coil comprise litz wires which are electrically insulated from the mold and in operative communication with at least one processing means.
