摘要: The present invention provides biodegradable compositions for making biodegradable plastic. The composition comprise about 25% to about 50% by weight starch; about 0.5% to about 10% by weight ground plant waste material; about 20% to about 50% a polymer derived from ethylene, vinyl alcohol and/or an ester of vinyl alcohol; about 10% to about 30% of a plasticizer; and about 3% to about 10% a filler and optionally a processing agent.

Methods may include blending a polymer composition from a mixture of an elastomeric ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) composition, and one or more of base polymer, filler, peroxide agent, blowing agent, and blowing accelerator, wherein the elastomeric EVA composition has a melt flow index (MFI) at 190° C. and 2.16 kg as determined according to ASTM D1238 in the range of 6.1 g/10 min and 45 g/10 min.

摘要: Disclosed is an antistatic agent for a metallocene olefin polymerization process and a polymerization method using the same, by which discontinuity event due to sheeting or drooling occurring in the olefin polymerization process can be effectively reduced, enabling continuous operation for a long time, and the obtained final product can be applied to various applications including food contact use. The present disclosure includes an olefin polymerization method, which comprises forming a mixture in which an antistatic agent containing diglycerol oleate is mixed with a low molecular weight hydrocarbon, supplying the antistatic agent mixture and a metallocene-based catalyst composition comprising a metallocene catalyst and aluminoxane to two or more polymerization reactors, and polymerizing one or more alpha-olefins in the presence of the antistatic agent mixture and catalyst composition.

摘要: This invention describes a polymer composition having reduced torque during processing comprising poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) and an internal additive, where the internal additive is a polyglycerol fatty acid ester having a degree of esterification of at least 70% and where the concentration of the internal additive is below 5 wt %. This invention further describes a use of said composition for packaging materials and a use of an internal additive in the processing of the polymer composition as a lubricant and/or an anti-blocker during processing of the polymer, where said internal additive is a polyglycerol fatty acid ester having a degree of esterification of at least 70% and 2-10 glycerol repeating units.
