摘要: The present invention provides a kneading method for a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin with which dispersibility of reinforcement fibers is enhanced and sufficient reinforcement fibers having a proper fiber length remain, and a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin plasticizing device and an extruding machine for carrying out the method. The kneading method comprises supplying a thermoplastic resin and reinforcement fibers into a cylinder of a plasticizing device, and rotating a screw to obtain a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin, wherein the size of a clearance between the bore of the cylinder and the screw is made different between an upstream side in the vicinity of a reinforcement fiber loading port and a downstream side, so that the clearance becomes larger from the vicinity of the reinforcement fiber loading port toward the downstream side compared with the upstream side.

摘要: Provided are a wiper for a machine tool and a method for manufacturing a wiper for a machine tool, which can simplify a manufacturing process. A wiper for a machine tool mountable on a machine tool includes: a wiper body fixable to the machine tool, and made of a first elastic material having hardness of 80 degrees or more; and a sliding part made of a second elastic material containing a particulate reinforcing material and having hardness in a range of 50 degrees or more and 90 degrees or less which is smaller than the hardness of the first elastic material, the sliding part being provided integrally with the wiper body, wherein the wiper body and the sliding part are integrally formed without an adhesive.

摘要: A thermoformable biaxially oriented coextruded polyester film comprising a copolyester base layer B, a first polyester outer layer A1 and a second polyester outer layer A2, wherein said outer layers are disposed on opposite surfaces of said base layer, and wherein: (i) said base layer B comprises a copolyester derived from terephthalic acid (TA) and a second aromatic dicarboxylic acid and one or more diol(s), wherein said second aromatic dicarboxylic acid is present in the copolyester in an amount of from about to 5 about 20 mol % of the acid fraction of the copolyester; (ii) the polyester of each of said outer layers A1 and A2 is selected from polyethylene terephthalate (PET); and (iii) the thickness of the base layer constitutes at least 90% of the total thickness of the coextruded multi-layer polyester film.

A method for manufacturing an optical component may include mixing two precursors of silicone, opening a first gate of an optic forming device, moving the silicone mixture from the extrusion machine into the optic forming device, cooling the silicone mixture as it enters the optic forming device, filling a mold within the optic forming device with the silicone mixture, closing the first gate, and heating the silicone mixture in the mold to at least partially cure the silicone. Alternatively, a method for manufacturing an optical component may include depositing a layer of heat cured silicone optical material to an optical structure, arranging one or more at least partially cured silicone optics on the layer of heat cured silicone optical material, and heating the heat cured silicone optical material to permanently adhere the one or more at least partially cured silicone optics to the optical structure.
