A low emissivity layer is deposited on at least one side of the substrate and covers at least some of the bonding locations. The low emissivity layer may be a metal layer which functions as a radiant barrier.

The staple cartridge assembly also includes a compressible adjunct positionable against the cartridge deck, wherein the staples are deployable into tissue captured against the compressible adjunct, and wherein the compressible adjunct comprises a first biocompatible layer comprising a first portion, a second biocompatible layer comprising a second portion, and crossed spacer fibers extending between the first portion and the second portion.

摘要: A fitting attachable to a cross-laminated panel provides a chase, plumbing space, airflow duct, or wiring route on an edge of the cross-laminated panel. The fitting may run between edges of multiple cross-laminated panels that contain integral hollow members, forming a customizable network of contiguous coplanar routing paths, accessible without installing pipes and wires behind, or in front of the cross-laminated panels. The fitting may also provide a vertical chase for single or multiple cross-laminated panels. The fitting takes advantage of one or more hollow members in the cross-laminated panels to provide contiguous routing paths for wires, pipes, and venting within the cross-laminated panels themselves, extending across any layout of multiple cross-laminated panels. The fitting may additionally serve as mechanical support for attachment of adjacent panels. Further, the fitting may provide structural connection for the CLT panels as required to meet structural code requirements for the building.

The back portion includes a honeycomb core layer and a back face sheet layer that is bonded to the honeycomb core layer. A channel is defined in the honeycomb core layer. The solar panel also includes a first wire that is positioned at least partially in the channel.

摘要: A cementitious composite includes a first layer, a second layer, and a cementitious mixture disposed between the first layer and the second layer. The cementitious mixture includes (i) cementitious materials and (ii) a viscosity modifier and/or an accelerator. The cementitious materials provide a void fraction between 0.64 and 1.35. The void fraction is defined as the ratio of the volume of the voids within the cementitious mixture per unit area of the cementitious composite to the volume of the cementitious materials per unit area of the cementitious composite. The cementitious mixture is configured to absorb a mass of water that provides a maximum 28 day compressive strength of the cementitious composite. A ratio of the mass of the water relative to the mass of the cementitious materials of the cementitious mixture per unit area of the cementitious composite that provides the maximum 28 day compressive strength of the cementitious composite is between 0.25 and 0.55.

摘要: Cooling suit including legs, torso and arms, which includes outwardly opening hose sleeve in the hip area, inwardly branching gas ducts having several outlet openings. A pressurized gas cylinder for carrying along and connecting outlet hose with coupling piece to this hose sleeve, and which comprises a valve and adjusting wheel for the regulated delivery of expanded gas into these gas ducts. The gas ducts in the upper-body have outflow openings in the area of the lower back, hips, neck area, armpits, arm joints, and sleeves. In the lower-body garment, outflow openings are arranged in the knees and the crotch area. This cooling suit is operated with a dry, compressed gas. The gas flowing from the pressure cylinder is expanded, subsequently cools down and then flows through the gas ducts and cools the body. Perspiration is carried away by the permanent gas supply via the breathable fabric of the suit.
