The cookware includes a laminate material with structural rigidity, wherein the laminate material includes a flexible substrate impregnated with the heat resistant polymer material and/or coated with a nonstick coating, and pressed or molded in a shaped cookware or other nonstick items or component. Various cooking devices can be pressed from the material, as well as oven or vehicle components.

摘要: The invention relates to a sandwich composite component (1) for the interior of a passenger aircraft. One problem to be solved by the invention is that of proposing a cost-effectively produced sandwich composite component which is suitable for the interior of a passenger aircraft and fulfils current fire protection requirements. The layer structure of the sandwich composite component (1) according to the invention comprises: a core layer (10) made of polymer foam; a reinforcing layer (20) comprising fiber composite material; and in addition at least one functional layer (50); wherein said layers of the layer structure are integrally bonded to each other, in particular by an adhesive bond. The fiber composite material of the reinforcing layer (20) comprises a woven or laid fabric made of reinforcing fibers and a polymer matrix, which has a higher density than the polymer foam of the core layer (10). Furthermore, the at least one functional layer (50) comprises a metal foil, in particular an aluminium foil, which has a thinner layer thickness than the reinforcing layer (20).

摘要: The present invention discloses cured composites having improved surfaces and processes of making and methods of using same. Such processes use ultra-short pulse lasers, for example, a femto-second laser to ablate material without the detrimental heat affected zones of other laser processes. Such process can not only increases surface roughness and clean contaminates, but can also selectively remove the matrix material and expose the surface fibers of cured composites. The treated cured composites have improved thermal and electrical pathways that can dissipate unwanted heat and electricity when two or more prepregs and/or cured composites are bonded or cured to form a single article.

A closed-cavity bag molding process of making a truck cap includes placing a first layer of fiber mat into a mold cavity, applying a bleeder strip around an edge of the mat and periphery of the mold, placing a reinforcement into a roof portion of the mold, placing a second layer of fiber mat into the mold cavity over the first layer and reinforcement layer, providing a flexible cover over the layers of fiber mat, actuating a vacuum to remove most of the air between the cover and mold, and delivering resin to the layers of fiber mat and reinforcement.

摘要: A footwear assembly having an upper configured to receive a foot and a sole assembly integrally connected to the upper. The sole assembly includes an outsole and a midsole coupled between the upper and the outsole. The sole assembly also includes a footwear insert coupled to the midsole having anisotropic and anti-puncture properties so as to provide protection, support, and stability to the foot of a wearer of the footwear assembly while still allowing for flexibility. The footwear insert is formed from a soft, dorsal layer having woven fabric, a hard, plantar layer formed from a fiber reinforced composite material bonded to the dorsal layer, and an interfacing polymer layer interposed between the dorsal and plantar layers and used to bond the two layers together. The layered arrangement has a high resistance to bending in a first direction and a low resistance to bending in an opposing second direction.
