Abstract: A seamless elastic strap with forked structures and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, the elastic strap includes an upper layer fabric strap formed by interweaving an upper layer warp, an upper layer wrapped warp, and an upper layer weft and a lower layer fabric strap formed by interweaving a lower layer warp, a lower layer wrapped warp, and a lower layer weft. By changing the interweaving position of the upper and lower wrapped warps with the upper and lower wefts, a structure consisting of several forking parts and merging parts arranged at intervals on one elastic strap is achieved. It uses the staggered hot-cutting method to make the ends of both ends of the upper and lower fabric straps misaligned. It uses the ultrasonic welding method to form a loop fabric strap. It has the advantage of using adhesive pressing or ultrasonic welding to make seamless marks.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles comprising belts comprising one or more pluralities of tightly spaced (less than 4 mm, less than 3 mm, less than 2 mm, and less than 1 mm) and/or low decitex (less than 300, less than 200, less than 100 dtex) and/or low strain (less than 300%, less than 200%, less than 100%) elastics to deliver low pressure less than 1 psi (according to the conditions defined by the Pressure-Under-Strand Test in the Method below) under the elastics, while providing adequate Section-Modulus of (between about 2 gf/mm and 15 gf/mm), resulting in a Product Length-to-Waist Silhouette that is within from about −0.3 to about 0.3 of the Target Body Length-to-Waist Silhouette to make the article conform better to the body of the wearer at a lower Pressure-Under-Strand, even with a loaded core (holding at least 50 mls of liquid), to provide for the advantages described above.

Abstract: In a production method of an elastic composite sheet, the elastic member does not break when the elastic member, in a stretched state, is bonded to a base material sheet; an elastic composite sheet and a disposable wearable article use the elastic composite sheet. A strip-shaped or string-shaped elastic member composed mainly of a thermoplastic elastic resin is stretched in the longitudinal direction of the elastic member. The stretched elastic member is placed over a first base material sheet such that the main surface of the first base material sheet contacts the elastic member. In this state, the elastic member and the first base material sheet are bonded in a first position that overlaps the elastic member seen from a direction perpendicular to the main surface of the first base material sheet and that is away from the edges of the elastic member.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for ultrasonic staking a first part having a fastening portion to a second part having an opening corresponding to the fastening portion. The method comprises aligning the fastening portion of the first part with the corresponding opening in the second part, inserting a head of the fastening portion through the corresponding opening, and causing a horn of an ultrasonic staking stack to contact the head, apply ultrasonic energy oscillating at a frequency between 45 kHz and 75 kHz, and move along an axis of the fastening portion as the head melts to form a stake. The stake can include a melt-form that joins the first part and the second part to each other, and the fastening portion can have a geometry or a size disposed to flapping.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for assembling elastomeric laminates, wherein elastic material may be stretched and joined with either or both first and second substrates. First spools are rotated to unwind first elastic strands from a first unwinder in a machine direction. The first elastic strands are positioned between the first substrate and the second substrate to form an elastomeric laminate. Before the first elastic strands are completely unwound from the rotating first spools, second spools are rotated to unwind second elastic strands from a second unwinder. Subsequently, the advancement of the first elastic strands from the first unwinder is discontinued. Thus, the elastomeric laminate assembly process may continue uninterrupted while switching from an initially utilized elastic material drawn from the first spools to a subsequently utilized elastic material drawn from the second spools.
