摘要: An image recording apparatus includes a controller configured to: (a) when a remaining amount of ink at the time of receiving a recording start instruction to start image recording on one recording medium is equal to or less than a predetermined amount and a calculated ink remaining amount is less than a required ink amount, not to start the image recording; and (b) when the remaining amount of ink at the time of receiving the recording start instruction is more than the predetermined amount, start the image recording according to the recording start instruction and, during the image recording according to the recording start instruction, when the remaining amount of ink is equal to or less than the predetermined amount and the calculated ink remaining amount is equal to or less than a threshold, interrupt the image recording.

摘要: There is provided an ink discharging apparatus including: a conveyor, a head, a heater, and a controller. The controller is configured to control the conveyor and the heater so as to heat a recording medium or the water-based ink for recording adhered to the recording medium, while conveying the recording medium in a conveying direction. The water-based ink for recording includes: a resin-dispersed pigment, resin fine particles of which glass transition temperature is not less than 33° C., an organic solvent, and water. The ink discharging apparatus satisfies condition (I): 5≤(Tg−Th)≤40. In the condition (I), Tg (° C.) is the glass transition temperature of the resin fine particles, and Th (° C.) is a maximum surface temperature of the recording medium heated by the heater.

摘要: A task to be achieved by the present invention is to provide an ink which can form a printed image or the like having color fastness to water at a level where the image will not be removed from the recording medium even when, for example, washed with water, warm water, or the like. Further, another task to be achieved by the invention is to provide an ink which can form a printed image or the like which is unlikely to suffer from color fading even when, for example, washed by an ultrasonic cleaning method or the like that is used for cleaning a stain strongly deposited on clothes or the like. The present invention is directed to an ink containing a polymer (A) having a predetermined structure (a1).

摘要: Provided herein is an inkjet dye-sublimation ink composition that is formulated to interact with an immobilizing composition such that the ink composition coagulates on the surface of an absorptive substrate, thereby substantially limiting soaking of the ink composition into the substrate. Also provided are a printing process and a printing machine, wherein the ink composition is directly printed on the substrate concomitantly with the immobilizing composition, and thereafter undergo heat-pressing to afford a dye-sublimation transfer of the dye to the substrate, thereby forming an image which is characterized by sharp and well defined edges of the dyed areas.

摘要: An object is to obtain a white ink which is easy to redisperse and is re-dispersible by being shaken several tens of times with weak force at most, or alternatively, without being shaken. As a solution, a white ink composition is provided which contains 50.0% by mass or less of a titanium oxide pigment treated with silica, alumina, and contains an organic compound in a solid content of the white ink composition, and contains 5.0 parts by mass or more of an alkali-soluble resin whose weight-average molecular weight is 28,000 to 100,000 relative to 100 parts by mass of the titanium oxide pigment, and further contains a water-dispersible resin and water.
