摘要: A system for purifying air is provided comprising a ceiling fan with a plurality of blades and a prism shaped box positioned in a lengthwise manner atop an upper surface of a first blade of the plurality. A leading panel of the box opens when the first blade begins to move. The system also allows airborne particles to enter the box and traps the particles inside the box. The leading panel is located on a forward-facing panel of the prism shaped box. The leading panel opens based on air resistance met based on motion of the first blade. The box contains porous filtering material. The box traps the particles via at least the filtering material. The box is made of cardboard and remains flat with the leading panel in collapsed state when the fan is not turning. An upper surface of the box raises when the fan begins to turn.

摘要: Provided are a gas treatment method and a gas treatment device capable of efficiently removing a bromofluoroethylene. A gas containing a bromofluoroethylene is brought into contact with an adsorbent (7) having pores with an average pore diameter of 0.4 nm or more and 4 nm or less in a temperature environment of not less than 0° C. and less than 120° C. to allow the adsorbent (7) to adsorb the bromofluoroethylene, and thus the bromofluoroethylene is separated from the gas.

摘要: High purity carbon sorbent monoliths that are particularly effective for the adsorption and subsequent desorption of trace-contaminants, such as ammonia, are produced by 3D-printing polymer monoliths, carbonizing them, and subsequently activating them to produce an effective amount of at least one type of oxygen species on exposed carbon surfaces. The high purity carbon sorbent monoliths are vacuum-regenerable on a time scale of a few minutes.

摘要: A natural gas adsorptive separation system and method is described. A method of separating natural gas includes directing a natural gas mixture through an activated carbon adsorption tower until the adsorption tower is saturated, collecting methane from the output of the adsorption tower, heating the saturated carbon adsorption tower with adsorbate using a heater and/or a vacuum pump in a closed loop circuit with the carbon adsorption tower until the input to the vacuum pump is within a specified temperature of the output of the heater, lowering the pressure in the heated activated carbon adsorption tower using the vacuum pump to desorb at least one hydrocarbon compound of the plurality of different hydrocarbon compounds, compressing and cooling the desorbed hydrocarbon compound, separating the cooled and compressed hydrocarbon compound into gas and liquid in a fluid separator, and collecting the liquid from the fluid separator.

摘要: Sorbent material sheets products that include sorbent material sheets and at least one porous cover layer are attached to an inner wall surface that is defined by an air intake. The sorbent material sheets collect vapors such as hydrocarbon vapors from engine components such as the combustion chamber, injectors, carburetor, fuel ports, crankcase, or other engine components, thereby reducing evaporative emissions. In certain configurations, the sorbent material sheet product includes an edge seal that improves the handling of the sorbent material sheets during the manufacturing process.
