摘要: Disclosed are a functional material for synchronously stabilizing multiple metals and a preparation method thereof, and a method for rehabilitating soil or wastewater contaminated by heavy metals (metalloids). The preparation method includes: mixing a ferrous salt, a ferric salt, a manganous salt, water, a dispersing material, and a phosphate to obtain a first mixture, and subjecting the first mixture to a first precipitation reaction to obtain a first reaction mixture containing the phosphate; adjusting a pH value of the first reaction mixture containing the phosphate to 10-12 by adding an alkali thereto to obtain a second mixture, subjecting the second mixture to a second precipitation reaction to obtain a second reaction mixture; and subjecting the second reaction mixture to a solid-liquid separation to obtain a solid, washing the solid, and drying to obtain the functional material for synchronously stabilizing multiple metals.

The solid sorbent is configured to allow for the preservation of the stored contaminants. 摘要: The present disclosure provides a method of preparing a carbonaceous material capable of fixing arsenic and an application thereof. Through biomass pretreatment, biomass pyrolysis and arsenite fixation, a biochar activated by potassium carbonate and an arsenic-containing wastewater containing sulfur-containing substances are mixed and deoxidized, and an anaerobic culture is carried out, to fix arsenic by the biochar activated by potassium carbonate. The present disclosure solves the problems that arsenic is released from the soil and groundwater under anaerobic conditions, the ability of conventional passivating agents to fix arsenic under anaerobic conditions is weakened, and the conventional carbonaceous materials not only cannot fix arsenic, but also accelerate the release of anaerobic arsenic.

摘要: A method for removing selenium from an aqueous stream comprises adjusting the pH of the aqueous stream to an acidic pH and mixing a galvanic reductant into the aqueous stream to form a first process stream, the aqueous stream having a first selenium level; separating at least a majority of the galvanic reductant from the first process stream after a retention time to form a recovered galvanic reductant stream and a second process stream; adjusting pH of the second process stream to pH 9 or higher to form a third process stream comprising precipitated particles; separating the precipitated particles from the third process stream to form a sludge stream and a treated aqueous stream having a second selenium level, the second selenium level being less than 10% of the first selenium level.
