摘要: The present invention relates to a bio-electrode having improved conductivity, flexibility and bio-compatibility, and a method of manufacturing the same. Specifically, the present invention relates to a conductive polymer bio-electrode including nano-porous permeable membrane, based on a bio-compatible polymer material having a plurality of pores and an improved surface area based on a PDMS device having a low mechanical strength and an excellent bio-compatibility, bio-signal transmission patterning, and a gold coating layer and has an excellent bio-compatibility and low rejection response while having a conductivity similar to that of a bio-electrode configured with a metal material of the related art. Therefore, the conductive polymer bio-electrode of the present invention is expected to be able to replace a bio-electrode configured with a metal material by which the bio-signal transmission efficiency is degraded due to a high bio-incompatibility.

摘要: A biodegradable double-J stent and a method of manufacturing a biodegradable double-J stent are provided. The stent comprises a main tube, a first retaining tube, and a second retaining tube, each fabricated from a biodegradable material. The first and second retaining tubes are curl-shaped and are connected to two ends of the main tube, respectively. The method of manufacturing a biodegradable double-J stent comprises the steps of: (a) providing a tube made of a biodegradable material; and (b) bending two ends of the tube to render the two ends curl-shaped and keeping a middle segment between the two ends straight. The two curl-shaped ends define a first retaining tube and a second retaining tube, respectively, and the middle segment defines a main tube. The biodegradable double-J stent precludes a ureteral obstruction which might otherwise occur with conventional double-J stents not removed in a timely manner.

摘要: A method of an intestinal protective ostomy with the use of a degradable intestinal diversion device and an intubation includes steps of: preparing the degradable intestinal complete diversion device; after cutting off the terminal ileum intestine, measuring the diameter of the intestine, and then selecting a degradable intestinal diversion device of appropriate specifications according to the diameter of the intestine; when diverting, placing the device in the intestinal cavity, and fixing the ileum on the device with a thread at the convex ring; inserting the stoma drainage tube in the proximal ileum where the device is placed against the direction of intestinal peristalsis; and disintegrating and discharging the device with the contents of the intestine. The invention used with a drainage tube realizes complete intestinal diversion without secondary operations of stoma reintroduction.

摘要: A non-synthetic, hydrophilic, biodegradable, biocompatible polysaccharide based non-toxic anti-adhesion hydrogel barrier is disclosed herein. The barrier of the present invention is formed by constructing a unique interpenetrating, crosslinked network with a unique porosity. Furthermore, the barrier of the present invention is comprised of tunable biopolymers for controllable mechanical robustness and degradation. The barrier of the present invention effectively reduces unwanted adhesions using non-synthetic components.
