摘要： A method for controlling a motor vehicle having an electronic control unit (ECU), includes enabling an initial set of vehicle performance limits of the motor vehicle via the ECU in response to a request signal from a computer device. The method includes detecting a current vehicle state of the motor vehicle, including one or more of a location of the motor vehicle, an occupancy state of the motor vehicle, and/or an experience level of a driver thereof, and dynamically adjusting at least one of the performance limits in response to the current vehicle state. A motor vehicle includes one or more road wheels and vehicle components connected to a vehicle body. The ECU includes non-transitory memory on which is recorded instructions for performing the method.

The vehicle includes a computer including a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to: detect a removeable child-restraint system on the occupant-seating area; and based on the detection of the removeable child-restraint system on the occupant-seating area, inflate the inflatable device in response to detection of certain vehicle impacts.

摘要： Methods and systems for autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicle control, routing, and automatic feature adjustment are disclosed. Sensors associated with autonomous operation features may be utilized to search an area for missing persons, stolen vehicles, or similar persons or items of interest. Sensor data associated with the features may be automatically collected and analyzed to passively search for missing persons or vehicles without vehicle operator involvement. Search criteria may be determined by a remote server and communicated to a plurality of vehicles within a search area. In response to which, sensor data may be collected and analyzed by the vehicles. When sensor data generated by a vehicle matches the search criteria, the vehicle may communicate the information to the remote server.

摘要： A pressure sensing system (24), seat cushion (20) incorporating the pressure sensing system, and method of sensing a weight group associated with an occupant of an automotive seat are described. The pressure sensing system includes a layer of an electrically conductive foam (28) and a flexible printed circuit (26) that includes a flexible substrate (26a) and N horizontal sensing wires (26b) and M vertical sensing wires (26c) securely placed on a top surface of the flexible substrate. The horizontal sensing wires intersect with the vertical sensing wires and form N×M intersections. The layer of an electrically conductive foam is placed on top of the N horizontal sensing wires and the M vertical sensing wires. When a pressure is applied to the layer of the electrically conductive foam, each intersection generates in real time an electric flux density value to reflect a degree of a compression caused by the pressure to a corresponding point of the electrically conductive foam.

摘要： Methods and systems for autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicle routing are disclosed. Roadway suitability for autonomous operation is scored to facilitate use in route determination. Maps of roadways suitable for various levels of autonomous operation may be generated. Such map data may be used by autonomous vehicles or other computer devices in determining routes based upon criteria for vehicle trips. Such routes may be automatically updated based upon changes in road conditions, vehicle conditions, operator conditions, or environmental conditions. Emergency routing using such map data is described, such as automatic routing and travel when a passenger is experiencing a medical emergency.
