Abstract: Autonomous vehicles including ladders and related methods are disclosed. An example system includes an autonomous vehicle including an integrated ladder and a processor to detect a state of the ladder as being in one of a stowed state, a deployed state, or a use state; in response to detecting that the ladder is in the stowed state, cause the autonomous vehicle to operate in a first drive mode and a second drive mode; in response to detecting that the ladder is in the deployed state, cause the autonomous vehicle to operate in the second drive mode and to restrict from operating in the first drive mode; and in response to detecting that the ladder is in the use state, cause the autonomous vehicle to refrain from operating in the first drive mode and the second drive mode.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for unmanned aerial vehicle modular command priority determination and filtering system. One of the methods includes enabling control of the UAV by a first control source that provides modular commands to the UAV, each modular command being a command associated with performance of one or more actions by the UAV. Modular commands from a second control source requesting control of the UAV are received. The second control source is determined to be in control of the UAV based on priority information associated with each control source. Control of the UAV is enabled by the second control source, and modular commands are implemented.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and techniques for controlling an autonomous vehicle. While the autonomous vehicle is travelling to a destination, the autonomous vehicle may encounter a situation preventing the autonomous vehicle from travelling to the destination. A control center may receive information from the autonomous device and use a graphical user interface to provide instructions with limited controls for the autonomous vehicle to navigate to an intermediate position. In such an intermediate position, the vehicle may make way for an emergency vehicle, obtain additional sensor data for continued autonomous planning, signal intent to other objects in the environment, and the like.

Abstract: A system for operating a vehicle based on a state of a rider includes an artificial intelligence system, a vehicle control system, and a feedback loop. The artificial intelligence system processes a sensory input from a wearable device in a vehicle to determine a state of a rider and optimizes an operating parameter of the vehicle to improve the state of the rider. The artificial intelligence system includes a neural net with a perceptron to mimic human senses to facilitate determining a state of a rider based on an extent to which at least one of the senses of the rider is stimulated. The vehicle control system adjusts vehicle operating parameters and the feedback loop indicates the change in the state of the rider, where the vehicle control system adjusts at least one of the plurality of vehicle operating parameters responsive to the indication of the change.

A system may process the social data using semantic analysis to detect keywords in the social data indicative of a group transportation need. A system may identify a plurality of individuals who share a group transportation need. A system may predict the group transportation need using a neural network trained to predict transportation needs based on the detected keywords. A system may provide a transportation recommendation based on the prediction.
