Abstract: A system, method, and device for operations of an electrically motorized vehicle. The vehicle can utilize an electrically motorized wheel to convert a non-motorized wheeled vehicle to an electrically motorized wheeled vehicle. A system includes a communications module operable to communicate data to a server remote from the electrically motorized wheel and a data integration module in data communication with the server to integrate the data from the sensor system with data from a data source external to the electrically motorized wheel.

Abstract: A power supply system includes a first energy storage, a second energy storage, a power transmission circuit, and circuitry. The first energy storage outputs first output power to an electric load. The second energy storage outputs second output power to the electric load. The circuitry is configured to control the power transmission circuit to supply power from the first energy storage or from both of the first energy storage and the second energy storage to the electric load based on a demand power such that a first change in the first output power in accordance with a change in the demand power is lower than a second change in the second output power in accordance with the change in the demand power or a third change in an input power of the second energy storage in accordance with the change in the demand power.

Abstract: A battery module includes a housing and battery cells disposed in the housing, each of the battery cells including two terminals. The battery module also includes bus bar cell interconnects including a first material, where each bus bar cell interconnect is configured to electrically couple two adjacent battery cells via an electrical coupling with a first terminal of one of the adjacent battery cells and a second terminal of the other adjacent battery cell, where at least one of the first and second terminals includes the first material. The battery module includes welds, each weld being disposed at a corresponding welding point to directly couple one of the bus bar cell interconnects with the corresponding at least one terminal including the first material. Each welding point is accessible for welding from a position above the battery cells when the interconnects are disposed over the battery cells.

Abstract: A battery system may include a first battery module that outputs a first voltage and a first current, a second battery module configured to output a second voltage and second current, and a display that depicts visualizations. The battery system may include a processor that may receive an indication to monitor a selected battery module comprising the first battery module or the second battery module, receive properties to monitor regarding the selected battery module, receive data regarding the properties from sensor circuitry configured receive the data from one or more sensors associated with the selected battery module, and generate visualizations that correspond to the one or more properties. Each of the visualizations may indicate a current value that corresponds to each of the properties based on the data. The processor may then display the visualizations on the display.

Embodiments may include an apparatus for regulating a state of charge of an electrical energy store, comprising: an acquisition device acquiring operating data related to the electrical energy store; a computer device determining a forecast state of health of the electrical energy store based at least in part on the acquired operating data; and a control device imposing a limit of power consumption and/or a power output of the electrical energy store, or cancelling such a limit, on the basis of a comparison of the determined forecast state of health of the electrical energy store with a value corridor of stored state of health profiles.

Abstract: A battery control system includes a main battery and an auxiliary battery, a direct current DC-DC converter for converting a high voltage output from the main battery into a low voltage between the main battery and the auxiliary battery and supplying the converted low voltage to the auxiliary battery or an electronic load, a relay for intermitting a voltage of the auxiliary battery, and a battery management system for controlling the relay to be turned off in a state in which the DC-DC converter is operated in a constantly ON state, comparing an output voltage of the DC-DC converter and a summation of cell voltages of the auxiliary battery, and detecting a fusion state of the relay according to a comparison result.

Abstract: A converter is to convert at least one of a first voltage output from a first energy storage device and a second voltage output from a second energy storage device. A detector is to detect the first voltage and a current flowing between the first energy storage device and the second energy storage device. Circuitry is configured to control the converter to perform a first constant current control in which a first constant current flows from one of the first energy storage device and the second energy storage device to another of the first energy storage device and the second energy storage device. The circuitry is configured to determine a state of the first energy storage device based on the first voltage and the first constant current while the first constant current control is performed.

Abstract: An electrical storage system includes electrical storage elements connected in series with each other and being charged or discharged; discharge circuits respectively connected in parallel with the electrical storage elements and discharging the corresponding electrical storage elements; and a controller controlling operations of the discharge circuits. The controller calculates a first SOC difference using a full charge capacity of each electrical storage element. The first SOC difference is a difference in SOC between the electrical storage elements and arises due to a difference in full charge capacity between the electrical storage elements. The controller calculates a second SOC difference that is a difference in SOC between the electrical storage elements at the moment the second SOC difference is calculated. When the second SOC difference is larger than the first SOC difference, the controller brings the second SOC difference close to the first SOC difference through a discharge with the discharge circuits.

Abstract: A battery system, a vehicle having a battery system, and a method for operating a battery system. The battery system has a plurality of cells, a load circuit, a current sensor to detect current flowing in the load circuit, a pre-charging circuit to limit the current flowing through the load circuit, a disconnecting apparatus in a load circuit section of the load circuit, the load circuit section being bypassed by the pre-charging circuit, a first consumer circuit and a second consumer circuit arranged in parallel with one another and connected to the load circuit, a first fuse assigned to the first consumer circuit, a second fuse assigned to the second consumer circuit and an electronics unit to evaluate signals of the current sensor and which determines whether at least one of the first fuse and the second fuse has blown based on signals of the current sensor.
