    Abstract: An antenna for a hearing instrument is connected to a first feedline segment extending laterally along an inner posterior surface of a shell of the hearing instrument. The antenna is also connected to a second feedline segment extending laterally along the inner posterior surface of the shell. The antenna comprises a first arm connected to the first feedline segment. The first arm initially extends in an inferior direction along the inner posterior surface of the shell from the first feedline segment. A second arm is connected to the second feedline segment and initially extends in a superior direction along the inner lateral surface of the shell from the second feedline segment.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a modular teleconference system that provides the convenience of a wireless headset for teleconference participants and the determinism associated with a physical connection between the headset and teleconferencing system. Some embodiments include a teleconference adaptor or mini-hub-device that is able to maintain a wireless connection even when disconnected from a teleconference hub device. The hub-device provides one or more cradles, each of which provides a physical connection to a mini hub. When a mini hub is placed in a cradle of a hub-device, the audio channels of the wireless headset are connected to audio channels of the hub-device. The hub-device in turn is connected to a teleconferencing application running on a computing device, such as a personal computer. For each mini hub placed in a cradle of the hub-device, audio from the corresponding wireless headset is integrated with the teleconference audio channel.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a first processor; a first commissioning element to communicate with external devices using wireless communication and a first memory storing programs for commissioning a target device onto a communication network. The communication network has configuration data including a network identifier and a network key. The programs provide a user interface for commissioning the target device. The target device includes a second processor, a second wireless radio, and a second commissioning element to receive the network configuration data. The target device decodes the network configuration data to commission the target device onto the communication network. The electronic device sends the network configuration data to the target device and receives confirmation that the target device has successfully connected to the communication network. The electronic device displays the success in a user interface.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of aircrafts and provide an aircraft control method and a flight control system. The method is applicable to an aircraft and includes: connecting a remote control to a master terminal; connecting the master terminal to at least one slave terminal, so that each of the at least one slave terminal is connected to the master terminal; determining that the remote control has been connected to the aircraft; and controlling, by the remote control, the aircraft according to control instructions transmitted by the master terminal and/or the at least one slave terminal. By means of the method, providing each terminal with a remote control can be avoided, thereby reducing the burden of holding remote controls and reducing costs.

    Abstract: A system and method for reducing the probability of collisions in a Bluetooth wireless sensor network is disclosed. The system and method utilize Periodic Advertising with Response to receive status information from the plurality of wireless sensor devices. Therefore, rather than sending the Sensor Status message at random times, the wireless sensor devices are all assigned a response slot in one of the subevents. The relay device receives all of the sensor status messages and forwards the information to the next hop device using measurement collection packets. In some embodiments, the relay device compacts the information before transmitting the measurement collection packets.

    Abstract: The present invention enables a user to share his/her listening experience selectively with others without sharing headphones and without disturbing others who do not want to listen. In a preferred embodiment, a first listener can accomplish this by storing in a Portable Electronic Device or similar device a library of listening experiences, listening to one of the listening experiences, and while listening to that one listening experience streaming the one listening experience to at least one other Portable Electronic Device or similar device. A second listener at the other Portable Electronic Device can then listen to the same listening experience as the first listener at the same time. It is expected that the listening experiences will typically be songs or other music but the invention may be practiced with any type of audio content. The first listener may also create a playlist of the listening experiences in the library and make the playlist available to others. Others may use the playlist to access the library and listen to one or more listening experiences stored in the library. Also, utilizing the same interface and communication methodologies as described above, the technology platform detailed in this application can be used for commercial purposes to stream location based content, audio and otherwise, to a connected network of Portable Electronic Devices. Commercial uses of this functionality include providing commercial establishments with the ability to create synchronous (users come into a stream at the exact point that it is being streamed in real time) and or asynchronous (users can select and start a transmission from the beginning) featured channels (location based) where they can stream any self created or otherwise authorized content to other Portable Electronic Devices in their range.
