The receiver or sensor collects unintended and/or intended RF energy components emitted by the electrically powered device and performs the above analysis in a response to the acquired signal input while the electrically powered device is active or powered.

摘要: An apparatus configured to assess health of electronic components in vehicles. This may be achieved by simply driving a vehicle into or through a physical device or over a physical device and determining the health of the vehicle. The apparatus may be comprised of a physical enclosure with antennas and a RF emission or other electromagnetic emission signature analyzer. The antennas capture unintended electronic emissions from the vehicle which provide the electromagnetic signatures of the electronic component to the signature analyzer. The evolution of the unintended electromagnetic emissions signature as the electronics ages is measured and evaluated, providing a measure of the health of the electronics within the vehicle. The apparatus may have an ultra-sensitive RF collection portion with a sensitivity preferably of at least −150 dBm. The RF collection portion may measure bandwidths of at least 100 MHz and may have a frequency resolution of 1 Hz or better.

摘要: A plug-in discharge detection unit includes two plugs of a cathode and an anode configured to allow insertion into respective two plug insertion holes of a plug socket. A discharge detection section configured to allow detection of a noise of discharge superimposed on a voltage or current, and an arithmetic section configured to allow determination of whether discharge has occurred based on the noise. The detection unit further includes a ground terminal electrically connected to a ground; at least one first switch electrically connected to a secondary side of the respective plug; and a current limiting resistor electrically connected to a secondary side of the first switch. The current limiting resistor has a secondary side electrically connected to the ground terminal, and the arithmetic section changes, if determining that discharge has occurred, the first switch from an open state to a closed state to pass an artificial leakage current with a current value in accordance with a resistance value of the current limiting resistor through the ground terminal.

摘要: A testing system includes a testing device including a display screen. The testing device can display, via the display screen, a representation of a vehicle and oscillators of the vehicle. The testing device transmits a test request that identifies a selected oscillator of the plurality of oscillators for testing. A vehicle receives the test request. An electronic control unit of the vehicle instructs the selected oscillator to generate test signals. The testing calculates a performance metric of the test signals. The testing device determines whether the selected oscillator is properly placed, functioning at a predetermined threshold, or both. Improperly placed or improperly functioning oscillators can be adjusted or replaced.

摘要: An apparatus detects complex time-variant electromagnetic disturbances resulting from a high-altitude nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) or solar storm. The device relies on a circuit (104, 1301) to monitor the input power lines (301, 401, 501) for sustained conducted electrical disturbances associated with the E3 phase of an EMP or solar storm. A separate circuit (105, 1302) monitors the power lines and the ambient environment (503) for transient electromagnetic pulse disturbances associated with the E1 and E2 phases of an EMP. A housing (901, 902) has a pair of AC mains wall plug prongs (905) extending from a side. When sustained electrical disturbances or transient electromagnetic pulse disturbances are detected, the apparatus provides a visual alarm (603, 609), audible alarm (608), and discrete indication signal (607) that can be used to disconnect (702) or redirect the flow of electrical power.

摘要: A system and method for automated shutdown, disconnect, or power reduction of solar panels. A system of solar panels includes one or more master management units (MMUs) and one or more local management units (LMUs). The MMUs are in communication with the LMUs with the MMUs and LMUs “handshaking” when the system is in operation. The MMUs are connected to one or more controllers which in turn are connected to emergency detection sensors. Upon a sensor detection of an emergency, the associated MMU is notified which in turn instructs associated LMUs to take appropriate action. In the event that communication with the MMUs has been cut off, the LMUs take the initiative to shut down, disconnect, or reduce the output of associated string(s) of solar panels.

The EPHY for the FPGA is for a testing device that can receive and transmit in both the high speed PHYs, as well as low speed PHYs, such as MIPI PHYS (MPHYs), to meet universal flash storage (UFS) specifications.
