摘要: A virtual sound generation apparatus is provided. The virtual sound generation apparatus includes a first sensor configured to obtain biometric information about a passenger, an output device configured to output a virtual sound, and a processor electrically connected with the first sensor and the output device. The processor is configured to determine driving sensibility for the passenger based on electroencephalogram (EEG) obtained by the first sensor, generate an effect signal for guiding the passenger to be stimulated depending on the driving sensibility, and control the output of the virtual sound based on the effect signal.

Based on the sensor measurements, the first vehicle identifies a risk to the first vehicle and/or to a second vehicle near the first vehicle, for example based on a distance between the first and second vehicle being unsafely low. The first vehicle generates an alert based on the risk and outputs the alert toward the second vehicle, for example visually through a screen and/or audibly using speakers, to warn an operator of the second vehicle about the risk.

摘要: An air brake sound system configured to discharge compressed air to simulate an air brake system on a vehicle that does not employ air brakes. The system includes at least one air receiver tank for housing pressurized gas, at least one discharge tank, and a series of valves for controlling the flow and discharge of pressurized gas during fill events and discharge events. Some embodiments further include an air compressor for refiling the air receiver tank. With a multitude of discharge tanks set adjacent to a vehicle's tires, the system can mimic the sound profile of a vehicle with air brakes.

摘要: An apparatus for controlling bus doors (14, 16) that are arranged as a pair of doors that move in coordinated relation between door open positions and door closed positions, enables passengers to access an interior area (12) of a bus (10). The apparatus includes an actuator (28, 226). The actuator includes a drive lever (34, 228) that is selectively rotationally movable between rotational positions in which both of the doors are in the open positions and in the closed positions. Exemplary arrangements include at least one controller (128) that is operative to prevent the doors from causing damage to or from being damaged by engagement with obstructions. The controller further enables a bus driver or other authorized user to control access to the interior area of the bus using a user mobile device (144).

摘要: A dynamic combustion engine sound broadcasting device for making an electric motor vehicle (EMV) sound like an internal combustion engine vehicle (ICEV) includes an electronics module (EM), which is mountable to the EMV. The EM comprises a set of sensors and a digital to analog converter (DAC), which are operationally engaged to a computer. Each sensor is operationally engageable to a respective operating element of the EMV to measure a performance parameter and to generate an output signal. An algorithm on the computer pairs each output signal with an associated sound, corresponding to a sound produced by a respective mechanical element of a reference ICEV at a respective performance level, and generates a composite digital signal. The sounds are retained on the computer as digital audio signals in a plurality of data sets. The DAC converts the composite digital signal to an analog signal for broadcast by a speaker.

摘要: Presented are intelligent electronic footwear with controller automated features, methods for making/using such footwear, and control systems for executing automated features of intelligent electronic footwear. An intelligent electronic shoe (IES) includes an upper that attaches to a user's foot, and a sole structure that is attached to the upper and supports thereon the user's foot. An alert system, which is mounted to the sole structure and/or upper, generates predetermined outputs in response to electronic command signals. The IES system also includes a wireless communications device that wirelessly communicates with a remote computing node, and a footwear controller that communicates with the wireless communications device and alert system. The footwear controller receives location data indicative of the user's and remote computing node's locations, determines whether the user's location is within a predetermined location/proximity to the node's location and, if so, transmits command signals to the alert system to notify the user/vehicle.
