    Abstract: A system for monitoring health and safety of workers in a manufacturing facility is presented. The system a user interface, a set of sensors, a database, management software and/or a health monitoring system, among other components. The system is configured to monitor health of workers using biometric data gathered by the set of sensors. In one or more arrangements, the system also tracks the position and motion of the worker. In one or more arrangements, the data gathered is aggregated in a database for datamining purposes so as to facilitate health monitoring and mitigation of identified illness. The system may be configured to screen and identify workers who are not in normal health. The system may be configured to screen workers health when clocking into or out of the time keeping system. The system may be configured to perform contact tracing.

    Abstract: The present detector comprises at least one of a smoke detection sensor, a carbon monoxide sensor and a temperature sensor for generating a detected measure.     Abstract: A gas monitoring and alarm system comprises a master monitor and at least one remote monitor. The master monitor is coupled to a master sensor that senses a concentration of a gas in a first area and sends data to the master monitor. The at least one remote monitor is communicatively coupled to the master monitor. The least one remote monitor is coupled to a remote sensor, which senses a concentration of gas in a second area. The at least one remote monitor receives data about the concentration of the gas in the second area from the remote sensor, and sends the data to the master monitor. The master monitor receives the data and triggers a first alarm status when the concentration of gas in at least one of the first area and the second area exceeds a first predefined alarm threshold.

    Abstract: A watercraft safety lighting system includes one or more light sensors for measuring ambient light levels, which are operatively connected to an electronic controller, such as a programmable logic controller or any suitable programmable computing device. The navigation lights are operatively connected to the electronic controller, as well as docking lights, interior lights, and instrument panel lighting, such as the lighting for gauges, instrument panels, video screens, GPS monitors, and the like. When ambient light levels reach a predetermined level of low light (as darkness is setting in, for example), the electronic controller is programmed to switch on the navigation lights, and to adjust other lighting to appropriate levels for night-time operations. The system may also shut off docking lights at a predetermined speed after dark, and may include alarms to warn the boat captain of improper lighting settings in low-light conditions.

    Abstract: A gas-measuring device includes a control unit, a gas sensor module, a radio receiver unit, a first radio transmitter unit and a second radio transmitter unit. The control unit detects sensor data via the gas sensor module in a first operating state and upon detecting a potential hazardous state, based on the sensor data, changes over into a second operating state. The control unit further detects one or more radio signals, which indicate respective characteristics of respective portable transmitter units, by the radio receiver unit in the second operating state, and determines, on the basis of the radio signals, which of the transmitter units have a sufficiently close proximity in space to the gas-measuring device. The control unit provides the characteristics of the transmitter units, having a sufficiently close proximity in space, via the first radio transmitter unit.
