摘要: A system for monitoring and controlling a fluid flow network has a plurality of flow control valves, each operable manually by a removable key engageable with a valve spindle. The system includes a database that records the location of the valve and a turn profile for each valve in the network. A mobile communications device detachably mounted on the key transmits data to the database and receives data from the database, and includes orientation means with at least one of a gyroscope, an accelerometer, a compass, and a processor. The processor is controlled by a software program to (i) communicate with the central database and to receive characteristics for the valve at the transmitted position, (ii) receive signals from the orientation means and calculate the instantaneous rotational speed of the valve spindle and its amount of rotation, and (iii) control rotation of the valve spindle.

The method of use comprises generating on audio output including selecting content that is age appropriate for a particular infant, altering a sound emission of a recording of a care-giver of the particular infant, and programming a music player to emit the audio output below an age dependent volume, for an age dependent number of intervals per day and per week, for an age dependent duration.

If the power circuit has not received sufficient current for dynamic power sharing, the Zener diode may draw additional current from a power source. An electrical current in the power circuit may be divided into a plurality of current loads. Each of the plurality of current loads may be directed through a different path in the power circuit.

In one embodiment, a method is described, comprising receiving an alarm signal from an occupancy sensor via a receiver, receiving a second alarm signal from a barrier alarm device after receiving the alarm signal, determining, by a processor, an elapsed time from when the alarm signal from the occupancy sensor was received to when the second alarm signal from the barrier alarm device was received, transmitting, by the processor via a network interface, a message to a personal communication device indicating that a false alarm has occurred when the elapsed time is less than the predetermined time.
