摘要: Systems and techniques are provided for processing audio data. A process can include obtaining first audio data from a first microphone in a first direction, and second audio data from a second microphone in a second direction. A directional audio signal can be generated, comprising a weighted sum of an omni-directional signal corresponding to the first audio data and a bi-directional difference signal corresponding to the first audio data and the second audio data. A constructed noise reference can be generated based on a difference between the omni-directional signal and the bi-directional difference signal. Estimated noise information associated with one or more of the first microphone or the second microphone can be determined, based on the constructed noise reference.

摘要: A hearing instrument has a housing which is wearable in an ear and which includes a concha portion and a thin canal portion protruding from the concha portion. The canal portion has a twice-curved shape to fit to the anatomy of the auditory canal. A damping body is inserted in the canal portion which is made of an elastic material to mount a receiver in vibration-damping fashion. The damping body has a pocket for accommodating the receiver and an adjoining sound tube. The sound tube is angled at a first angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the pocket, thereby forming a bend in the damping body, and its end distant from the pocket terminates in a support plate which rests on a shoulder of the canal portion. The support plate is angled obliquely with respect to an axis of the sound tube.

摘要: An apparatus includes a coupling portion configured to be releasably coupled to an abutment affixed to a recipient's body. The coupling portion includes a substantially cylindrically symmetric body portion extending along a symmetry axis, the body portion including an outer body surface having a recess extending around the symmetry axis. The coupling portion further includes a resilient member in the recess and extending around the symmetry axis. The resilient member extends outwardly past the outer body surface and is configured to contact an inner abutment surface of the abutment. The resilient member is configured to undergo compression by the inner abutment surface and an inner surface of the recess upon being releasably coupled to the abutment. The compression has a component substantially perpendicular to the symmetry axis.

摘要: A hearing assistance device may be turned on or off in response to a change in magnetic field or detection of a gesture. A magnetic sensor may be used to identify a change in a magnetic field. An inertial measurement unit or other force sensor may be used to detect a gesture. In response to the magnetic field change or gesture, a hearing assistance device may be caused to change a device function or change a device power mode.

摘要: A hearing system performs nonlinear processing of signals received from a plurality of microphones using a neural network to enhance a target signal in a noisy environment. In various embodiments, the neural network can be trained to improve a signal-to-noise ratio without causing substantial distortion of the target signal. An example of the target sound includes speech, and the neural network is used to improve speech intelligibility.

摘要: An illustrative electroacoustic hearing system includes a loudspeaker and a processor configured to: direct the loudspeaker to present a sound to a recipient by way of a length of tubing extending from the loudspeaker to an ear tip disposed at an ear canal of the recipient, the directing configured to cause the sound to have a target sound pressure level at the ear canal; obtain a detected sound pressure level of the sound as the sound is presented at the ear canal, the detected sound pressure level obtained from a probe microphone disposed within the ear tip; identify a discrepancy between the detected and target sound pressure levels of the sound as the sound is presented at the ear canal; and direct, based on the identified discrepancy, a remedial action to be performed to compensate for the discrepancy.

摘要: A hearing aid adapted for being worn by a user at or in an ear of the user comprises a) at least one input transducer for converting sound in an environment around the user to at least one electric input signal representing said sound; b) an output transducer for converting a processed output signal provided in dependence of said at least one electric input signal to stimuli perceivable to the user as sound; c) a feedback control system comprising an adaptive filer, the feedback control system being configured to provide an adaptively determined estimate (h*(n)) of a current feedback path (h(n)) from said output transducer to said at least one input transducer in dependence of c1) said at least one electric input signal, c2) said processed output signal, and c3) an adaptive algorithm. The hearing aid further comprises d) a database comprising a multitude (M) of previously determined candidate feedback paths (hm); and e) a controller configured to identify a change in the current feedback path (h(n)) based on the adaptively determined estimate (h*(n)) of the current feedback path and at least one of said multitude of previously determined candidate feedback paths (hm). A method of operating a hearing aid is further disclosed. The invention may e.g. be used in hearing aids, e.g. binaural hearing aid systems or headsets, or speakerphones, or combinations thereof.
