摘要: A wireless power relay can include a first wireless power receiver (Rx1) configured to receive power from a first wireless power transmitter (Tx1) in another device and a second wireless power transmitter (Tx2) configured to deliver power to a second wireless power receiver (Rx2) in another device. Rx1 may be configured to communicate with Tx1 via a first communication link, and the Tx2 may be configured to receive communication from Rx2 via a second communication link, both employing modulation of the wireless power signal. The relay may further include a power converter with its input coupled to Rx1 and its output coupled to Tx2 and a constant power controller configured to isolate modulated communication between the communication links. Additionally or alternatively, the relay may include circuitry configured to introduce a jamming signal preventing Tx1 from detecting and improperly interpreting signals from the second communications link.

摘要: Embodiments herein relate to ear-worn devices with swappable, rechargeable battery cartridges and charger cases for the ear-worn devices. In an embodiment, a hearing assistance system is included having a first ear-worn device can include a first cartridge having a rechargeable battery and a first cartridge charging structure, and a charger case can include a first case charging structure, where the first ear-worn device is configured to be positioned within the charger case so that the first cartridge charging structure of the first ear-worn device is adjacent to the first case charging structure within the charger case. The first cartridge is configured to be removed from the first ear-worn device and positioned within the charger case so that the first cartridge charging structure is adjacent to the first case charging structure within the charger case, without the ear-worn device being positioned in the charger case.

摘要: In one embodiment, the present invention is directed to a contact hearing system comprising: an ear tip including a transmit coil, wherein the transmit coil is connected to an audio processor, including an H Bridge circuit; a first input to the H Bridge circuit comprising an AND circuit wherein a first input to the AND circuit comprises a carrier signal and a second input to the AND circuit comprises an output of a delta sigma modulation circuit, wherein the delta sigma modulation circuit is a component of the audio processor; and a second input to the H Bridge circuit comprising an NAND circuit wherein a first input to the NAND circuit comprises a carrier signal and a second input to the NAND circuit comprises an output of the delta sigma modulation circuit.

摘要: A cochlear implant and analysis system includes a stimulator, an input source, a signal processor, a wireless communication interface, and an external device. The system can receive an acoustic stimulus, generate an input signal representative thereof, and apply a transfer function to the input signal to generate and output a stimulation signal to the stimulator. The signal processor can receive an analysis input indicating a first signal for analysis and generate an analysis signal based on the received analysis input. The first signal can be an input signal from an input source or a result of one or more processing steps. The signal processor can output the analysis signal to the wireless communication interface with the wireless communication interface configured to output a signal representative of the analysis signal to an external device.

Additionally, the processing system determines a predicted agenda of the hearing instrument, the predicted agenda comprising one or more future time segments. The processing system estimates, based on the current state of charge and the predicted agenda of the hearing instrument, an amount of time remaining until the future SOC of the battery of the hearing instrument reaches a threshold.
