The gate is at least two gates including one gate placed at an entrance of a management area and the other gate placed at an entrance of an area. The management area is a place to keep an item to be lent. The area is included in another place to which the item is taken after being lent. The tracking system includes a server and an item management apparatus. The gate circuitry requests accumulating, in the item management apparatus via the server, item identification information identifying the item and read from an information holding medium related to the item, user identification information identifying a user and read from another information holding medium related to the user, and gate identification information identifying the gate.

    摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus for controlling radiofrequency sensing and audio sensing of a network. The network (100) comprises a plurality of network devices (111, 112, 113, 114), e.g. smart lights, and is adapted to perform radiofrequency sensing and audio sensing utilizing one or more of the network devices. A context parameter providing unit (121) provides context parameters, wherein the context parameters are indicative of a context in which the radiofrequency sensing and the audio sensing is performed. A controlling unit (122) controls the radiofrequency sensing and the audio sensing of the network in dependency of each other based on the context parameters. This allows for an improved monitoring of an area.

    摘要: A system and method provides for one or more of tracking of an object and providing automatic access to applications or data. Depending upon the embodiment, the system includes a personal digital key (PDK), a reader, a computing device and one or more of an auto login server and a tracking server. The PDK stores one or more profiles in memory. A reader is configured to wirelessly communicate with the PDK. The computing device is coupled to the reader and one or more of the auto login server and tracking server. The auto login server is configured to communicate with the reader and launches one or more applications associated with a user name identified by a profile received from the PDK. The tracking server is configured to communicate with the reader and to track and log information received from the PDK associated with the object.
