Abstract: An electronic device for providing exercise information and a method therefor are provided. The electronic device includes a first sensor module, a second sensor module, at least one output device, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to detect an event relating to start of an exercise state, obtain motion information corresponding to the exercise state using the first sensor module, obtain metabolite information of a user using the second sensor module, and provide information regarding the exercise state to the user through the at least one output device, based on whether the metabolite information satisfies a specified condition.

Abstract: An electronic device according to various exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure includes: a motion sensor; a temperature sensor configured to acquire temperature information on an external object; an image sensor configured to acquire an image on the external object; and a processor, and the processor is configured to: identify a motion of the electronic device and a motion of the external object using the motion sensor or the image; when the motion falls within a specified range, acquire the temperature information in a first method; when the motion falls within another specified range, acquire the temperature information in a second method; and provide an indicator corresponding to the temperature information through a display functionally connected with the electronic device.

Abstract: An electronic device may include a housing and a PhotoPlethysmoGram (PPG) sensor disposed inside the housing. The PPG sensor may include a first Light Emitting Diode (LED) configured to generate light in a first wavelength band, a second LED configured to generate light in a second wavelength band, a third LED configured to generate light in a third wavelength band, a fourth LED configured to generate light in a fourth wavelength band, and a light receiving module including at least one photo diode. The electronic device may include a processor operatively coupled with the PPG sensor and a memory operatively coupled with the processor. The memory may include instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to measure optical densities of the light generated by the first LED to the fourth LED, and calculate a blood glucose value based at least in part on the measured optical densities.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing, a touchscreen display viewable through a first part of the housing, a photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor exposed through a second part of the housing, a processor disposed in the housing and operatively connected to the touchscreen display and the PPG sensor, and a memory disposed in the housing and operatively connected to the processor, wherein the memory stores instructions that, when executed, are configured to cause the processor to receive first data from the PPG sensor, generate second data by band-pass filtering the first data, generate oxygen saturation data based on at least some of the second data, select a first portion related to a first period of time from the second data, and display, on the touchscreen display, a graphical user interface including information related to the oxygen saturation data except for data corresponding to the first portion from the graphical user interface.
