摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a housing and a first process cartridge. The first process cartridge is attachable to and detachable from the housing. The first process cartridge includes a first photosensitive drum, a first developing roller, and a developing frame. The developing frame has a toner inlet opening. A toner cartridge has a toner supply opening. The toner cartridge is positioned above the developing frame such that the toner supply opening and the toner inlet opening face with each other in upward/downward direction. In the state where the first process cartridge to which the toner cartridge is attached is attached to the housing, the toner cartridge is incapable of being detached from the first process cartridge. In a state where the first process cartridge to which the toner cartridge is attached is detached from the housing, the toner cartridge is detachable from the first process cartridge.

摘要: A method of detecting a reflection in a first thermal image captured by a thermal image sensor and, a second image is captured by a visible light sensor, near infrared sensor, or short-wave infrared sensor having a field of view which overlaps a field of view of the thermal image. A relationship between coordinates in the thermal image and the second image is determined. A first object is detected in a first position in the thermal image. A candidate image area in a second position in the second image is analysed to determine if anx 10 object equivalent to the first object is present, the second position corresponding to the first position according to the relationship between the coordinates in the thermal image and the second image. In response to a determination that there is no equivalent object in candidate image area, it is determined that first object is a reflection.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for securely monitoring a shipping container for an environmental anomaly using elements of a wireless node network of sensor-based ID nodes disposed within the container and a command node associated with the container. The method has the command node identifying which of the ID nodes are confirmed as trusted sensors based upon a security credential specific to each of the ID nodes; monitoring only the confirmed ID nodes for sensor data broadcast those ID nodes; detecting the anomaly based upon the sensor data from at least one of the confirmed ID nodes; automatically generating an alert notification related to the detected environmental anomaly for the shipping container; and transmitting the alert notification to the external transceiver to initiate a mediation response related to the detected environmental anomaly.

摘要: An enhanced shipping container apparatus that maintains packages is described having integrated fire suppression. The apparatus has a container base supporting the packages, multiple container walls coupled to the container base, and a container top coupled to each of the container walls. A fire suppression panel is integrated as part of one or more of the walls and top portion, and has a support sheet of fire resistant material; an interior exposed sheet of temperature sensitive material; a sealed boundary connecting the support sheet and interior exposed sheet on peripheral edges (where the sealed boundary, support sheet and interior exposed sheet define a holding cavity), and integrated fire suppression material in the holding cavity. The temperature sensitive material of the interior exposed sheet releases the integrated fire suppressant material from within the holding cavity when the temperature sensitive material of the interior exposed sheet is exposed to a threshold temperature.

摘要: According to one aspect, a method for remote monitoring of electrical equipment includes acquiring a set of data points, each data point representing a temperature associated with a piece of electrical equipment or a component thereof, assigning each data point to one or more groups of data points, and defining an alarm metric for each group. Each group's alarm metric may be defined independently of other group's metrics. The defined alarm metrics are used to determine the health of the electrical equipment. The data may be determined from virtual probes within an infrared sensor and/or received from RFID devices containing temperature sensor, which are attached to or near the equipment to be monitored, for example. The methods described herein do not require conversion of sensor data into temperature values, and thus obviate the need for expensive sensors and/or computationally demanding conversion, compensation, and calibration routines.

摘要: In a pyroelectric infrared detector in which a pyroelectric element and an integrated circuit performing processing of a detection signal from the pyroelectric element are housed in a package, the integrated circuit includes: a converter that performs analog-to-digital conversion of the detection signal; a signal processor that performs signal processing by a digital filter for the detection signal after the conversion; and an input-output controller that delivers the output data from the signal processor to an external device via serial data communication. A cut-off frequency of the digital filter is settable and changeable by voltage application to the integrated circuit or by a command supplied from the external device via the serial data communication.

摘要: A thermal radiation detection device (1), said device comprising a sensor array (2) comprising a plurality of sensor elements (3) and an optical waveguide (4) having a radiation input end (5) and a radiation output end (6). The radiation input end (5) is configured to receive thermal5 radiation, and the radiation output end (6) is operatively connected to the sensor array (2). The optical waveguide (4) is configured to transmit the received thermal radiation as a plurality of simultaneous thermal radiation signals. By decoupling the sensor array from the radiation input end, the relatively large sensor array can be placed in a position optimal for electronic functionality and optimal in view of mechanical constraints, independent of the radiation input position.
