摘要: Embodiments of the present application relates to a battery, a power consumption device, and a method and device for producing a battery. The battery includes: a battery cell, the battery cell including a pressure relief mechanism; a fire-fighting pipeline configured to accommodate a fire-fighting medium, the fire-fighting pipeline including a first region corresponding to the pressure relief mechanism and a second region located at a periphery of the first region, the first region being configured to be damaged when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, such that the fire-fighting medium is discharged; and a protective component disposed between the fire-fighting pipeline and the battery cell and configured to protect the second region. The battery, the power consumption device, and the method and device for producing the battery in the embodiments of the present application could improve the safety performance of the battery.

摘要: A fire suppressant for cooling a battery cell in a battery pack includes a pressurized mixture of an organic compound and carbon dioxide. The organic compound is 1,1,1,2,2,4,4,5,5,5-nonafluoro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-3-pentanone. A ratio of a mass of the organic compound to a mass of the carbon dioxide is between 1:4 and 4:1. The mixture is pressurized above a vapor pressure of the carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide, when depressurized, evaporates and cools the organic compound and the battery cell. The mixture, when depressurized, flows through the battery cell. An amount of the fire suppressant flowed through the battery pack is equal to or greater than an inerting volume of fire suppressant for the battery pack.

摘要: A fire prevention and suppression assembly includes a cylindrical body having a sidewall, with spaced arcuate slots formed in the sidewall, and threaded first and second ends. The assembly includes stabilizer feet affixed to the cylindrical body diametrically opposite the slots. An end cap is threaded onto one of the ends. The slots are positioned in a predetermined pattern that disperses water evenly across a surface. A method of preventing and suppressing fire includes coupling a water source hose to the assembly; moving the assembly underneath an electric vehicle with the slots oriented toward the undercarriage; and pressurizing the water source hose to continuously move water through the slots against the undercarriage for a selected time.

摘要: A fire training facility, which simulates a fire onboard an electric vehicle. A dummy vehicle has the external dimensions of a real vehicle and has a dummy of a rechargeable battery and at least one dummy of a tire of the vehicle. The rechargeable battery dummy is positioned onboard the dummy vehicle in the same way as a rechargeable battery onboard a real vehicle. A smoke pot or fog pot generates fog, which is released from the rechargeable battery dummy. A flame generator of the rechargeable battery dummy generates flames, which are released from the rechargeable battery dummy. The dummy tire or each dummy tire is positioned onboard the dummy vehicle in the same way as the corresponding tire onboard a vehicle. A flame generator of the dummy tire generates flames, which are released from the dummy tire.
