A cooling system supplies a liquid coolant to a heat exchanger that is in thermal communication with the battery pack. A first section, a second section, and a third section of the heat exchanger are arranged sequentially in a flow direction of the liquid coolant between the coolant inlet and the coolant outlet, with the first section of positioned adjacent to the first cell group of the first sub-pack, the second section positioned adjacent to the third cell group of the second sub-pack, and the third section positioned adjacent to the second cell group of the first sub-pack.

摘要: The patent discloses a thermal management system and a valve thereof. The valve comprises a valve house and a valve core that can be rotatably mounted in the valve house. A plurality of inner valve ports and a plurality of outer valve ports are defined in an axial end of the valve house. The inner valve ports and the outer valve ports are arranged at intervals along the circumference of valve house. the valve core defines a plurality of inner flow channels and a plurality of outer flow channels extending through one of axial ends of the valve core. the inner flow channels are located at a radial inner side of the outer flow channels and are not in communication with each other inside the valve core. The inner flow channels are corresponding to the inner valve ports. The outer flow channels are corresponding to the outer valve ports. In response to the valve core rotating to different positions relative to the valve house, the inner flow channels selectively communicate with different inner valve ports, and the outer flow channel selectively communicate with different outer valve ports.

The heat transfer apparatus includes a first temperature sensor disposed between the pump and the splitter, and for each of the plurality of fluid flows: an adjustable valve, a motor fluidically coupled to the adjustable valve, a second temperature sensor integrated into the motor and a third temperature sensor disposed after the motor. The heat transfer apparatus includes a combiner fluidically coupled to each of the fluid flows, a fourth temperature sensor disposed after the combiner, and a heat sink fluidically coupled to the combiner and the reservoir wherein the second temperature sensor is configured to provide a control signal to a control unit to control fluid flow through the adjustable valve.

摘要: A thermal management system for a rechargeable battery pack assembly includes a conduit having an upstream end and a downstream end, the downstream end operatively connectable to an enclosure of the rechargeable battery pack assembly at a port of the rechargeable battery pack assembly. A sealing mechanism is configured to transition from a first state in which the sealing mechanism blocks flow of an applied stream of water through the conduit from the upstream end through the port, to a second state in which the sealing mechanism permits flow from the upstream end to the port and through the port into the interior cavity to cool the interior cavity.

摘要: An electric vehicle includes a chassis, a battery in a battery compartment supported by the chassis and a dual underside battery cooling system to transfer heat from the battery by drawing hot air from the battery compartment via air outlets. The dual underside battery cooling system includes a left fan for generating a left airflow along a left underside path of the vehicle and a right fan for generating a right airflow along a right underside path of the vehicle, the left and right airflows expelling the hot air from the battery compartment toward a rear of the vehicle. The processor independently controls the left fan and the right fan to selectively generate a differential downforce on left and right wheels of the vehicles when cornering to thereby compensate for centrifugal roll and to generate an equal downforce on the left and right wheels when accelerating in a straight line.

摘要: A system or method for individualized coolant flow to each of a plurality of energy storage devices 10 housed in an electric vehicle. Each energy storage device 10 includes a heat exchanger 11 coupled in thermal conductivity with a segmented battery module 13. The segmented battery module 13 includes battery cells 13B and sensors (13C, 13D, and 13E). The heat exchanger 11 includes an HE flow controller 11C. Individual sensor information for each energy storage device 10 is collected via the BMU 13A of each segmented battery module 13. The charging SCC 22 uses this individual sensor information to calculate the HE flow rate of coolant pumped through each energy storage device's 10 heat exchanger 11 to cool the battery cells 13B of the energy storage device 10. Coolant delivered to the heat exchangers 11 is cooled by an external cooling unit 21 of a power source 20 during each charging session.

摘要: To provide a fast charger and a fast charging method that are highly efficient in fast charging of a solid-state battery.
A fast charger includes a charging section, a temperature acquisition section, and a controller. The charging section feeds current to a solid-state battery being a secondary battery. The temperature acquisition section acquires a temperature of the solid-state battery. The controller performs control to cool the solid-state battery if the temperature acquired by the temperature acquisition section is greater than or equal to a predetermined temperature.
The controller determines a plurality of inflection points on a curve representing changes in the temperature of the solid-state battery against internal resistance of the solid-state battery. The predetermined temperature corresponds to an inflection point on a high-temperature side among the plurality of inflection points.-

摘要: In a coolant circulation system of a vehicle, a connecting unit is connected to a coolant line of a vehicle circulating through a battery of the vehicle. When connected to the coolant line, the connecting unit allows coolant to be discharged from the vehicle or be introduced into the coolant line. A supply unit includes a cooling tank in which the coolant is stored or circulates and a heating tank. The cooling tank includes an evaporation core, and the heating tank includes a condensing core. The evaporation core and the condensing core are connected to the coolant line on which a compressor, an expansion valve, and an external condenser are provided. When the connecting unit is connected to the coolant line, the supply unit is configured to supply the coolant from the cooling tank or the heating tank to the coolant line of the vehicle, cooling or heating the battery.
